Finally used my stationary bike for a finisher. I was dying. My aerobic conditioning needs some work.

3.5 km, level 2, time 5:56, peak HR 180

I think a stationary bik would cripple most of us.

big pulls- nice work
with a fat bar no less.

I did a program Fischer sent me called built like a bad ass-
based on that washed up meat head template

It was good- lot of interesting stuff
a good balance of heavy lifting and pump and fluff

let me know if you want the program I can email it to you

Thanks Kev. Fisher emailedme the same book. And I thought I was special!!

Yes.

Yes you are.

But as we age we get more earning power and we can therefore redefine “awesome” to be whatever the hell we want it to be.

I’m with Kevin. I like the big basic work. How is the home skating rink?

You are a squatting machine.

warm up:bike, stretch, sqaut jump with 10 lb dbs

2b.chin ups ss bat wings 5 sets

Thanks all for the support. I need to catch up with all your threads. Just been so darn busy. The weather has been so abnormally warm that my kids have only been on our skating rink 3 or 4 times. This weekend looks like a cold one so I hope to get the kids and their friends out there.

Not sure what direction my training is going in so I’m just going to keep squatting every workout. Its the king of exercises right?

At 405x12, I’d say you rule the squat.

I’m trying to get this squat thing down. I almost like them now.

I don’t think you can go wrong doing a lot of squats.

Thats what Smolov said anyway.

Squat 275x5 sets x 20 reps

This is the toughest workout I’ve had in a long time. Not something I want to do every workout.

I only wish I had started doing them when I was younger.

Thanks Matty. The forth and fifth sets were not fun at all. After the fifth set I couldn’t get the pain in my legs and back to stop for several minutes no matter what position I was in.
