New Hampshire Training

OP, unfortunately not brewing any moonshine. Just heating pool water. And it worked great. I should get an extra few weekends out of the pool every year with this heater.

Brett, OG has brain washed me. I drank the kool aid.

MJ, we got some wind and a bit of rain. Nothing too bad. I didn’t even lose power. But Hurricane Irene killed Vermont with rain. Like a foot in less then a day. All kinds of flooding.

A wood fired pool heater? Do any of your shirts have sleeves? How many dogs live under your porch?

Nice squats buddy. I love the 30 reps. I did 20 x 225 the other week and it damn near killed me.

I’m off to the Sox-Jays game Thursday in full Sox gear with another Sox fan.

Canada,I’ve got some redneck in me for sure.

Ddot, hope you had a great time at the game. Sox are on a downward slide right now.

Even though I’ve failed many times I’m trying to lose weight again. Over the past two days I’ve had no carb protein shakes for breakfast and lunch and a steak for dinner. Hoping to do this for 28 days. I was surprisingly strong today with no carbs in me.

and I LOVE the 30 rep squats
nice work

Great work, Steve. And definitely strong…as usual.

I am fighting the same weight loss battle. I have managed to keep off what I lost, but stalled back at the end of July, when company came for a week.

How much weight you trying to drop Steve?

Nice work with the Deads/Bench. I’m hoping my numbers can approach this over the next 6 months (I said approach, not equal  )

[sox rant]
Game was fun even though the Sox lost. That said, it was unbelievably frustrating to watch the Sox hit (or not hit) though. They took every first pitch (the patient hitting approach?) so the Jays pitchers just threw first pitch fastballs EVERY time. I was literally standing in the crowd asking anyone if they wanted to bet me that the first pitch would be a fastball and the Sox hitter would be taking. (Not one taker) It was ridiculous. That crap has to change or they’ll get killed in September. You can’t expect to produce offensively when you’re down a strike to start every at bat.
[/sox rant]

Thanks all. Looking to lose at least 20 lbs. Get below 250. See if I can stick to this for 28 days. I’ve been keeping a food journal hoping it helps to keep me on track.

The Sox just like to keep us on the edge of our seats. They’ll come roaring back (I hope).

The Legion Grows…30 rep Squats…with 275 you are one strong man! Nice work brother…very impressive

Thanks OG. Squats are our friends.

Put the ipod on and headed outside.

9/10
farmers carries (a bunch)
rock carries (just a couple)
5 hill walks and 5 hill sprints (alternated between the two)

Day 4 on the diet. Things are going great. Only 24 more days.

Day 6 on the diet. Best a diet has gone for me in years. 10 lbs down. I know its mostly water weight but its a start. 6 pack abs here I come.

You’ve got to drop the water weight to get to the fat. Good job and keep it up. You can do anything for 28 days.

Thanks for the support Joe. Only 28 days. Piece of cake. (low carb cheese cake without the crust)

Thanks Upscale. Maybe someday I’ll abs almost as cool as yours.

Your timing’s off. Suppose to do the diet and get the hot abs for summer. Now you’ll have to cover them all up in the cold weather. Keep going though. You’ll look like Colin soon.

Thanks Harry. My wife will have to be the only one lucky enough to view my hot abs.

Low carb weakness is in full effect. Time to play a little on line poker. Only for free now. Money not allowed in the US any more.

Good job on the diet and it doesn’t look like your strength sucks yet.
