Kids’ hockey season starts beginning of September. Between practices and games it’ll be hockey every day. Back to standard 5/3/1 then.

wear your belt around the biggest part of your belly. it should be tight enough to not fall down. You’ll want to take big air and push out against the belt. When I learned how to do this right, it made a huge impovement in the stability I felt.

oh, yeah, and great workouts. You are making me want to make more strongman implements

Wrapped a small towel around a chain to use as a neck harness. Seemed to work fairly well.
I’m on vacation this week and am hoping to get at least four workouts in. Then a deload and come up with some fall/winter goals.

Great to hear from you Rick. Things are going very well. Just got home from the next door neighbors. Kids birthday party. Too many beers and mixed drinks. May feel this one tomorrow. Thanks all. Vacation is going great so far. Took the boys to a zip line today. They had a blast. My wife even went. I was over the weight limit so I just cheered.

No competitions of any kind planned. I should find some strong man or powerlifting event to train for.

We had a family party at our place yesterday. I made ribs and pulled pork. Came out great. I’m sure you southerners would think it was OK at best.

Turned 42 on the 24th. Been drinking,eating and procrastinating since. Some outdoor work and light clean and presses. Good news is my oldest son’s hockey practices are going to be late enough so I can lift after work. So I have no excuses not to train. Two nights a week and weekend nights.

Sounds like a right fine deload.

My back was killing me squatting. I attempted GMs but had to stop after 3 sets I was in so much pain. Gonna try split squats next time instead of GMs.
