sled drags 10 trips x 30 yards, 1 trip up and down my sprinting hill
Giving my joints a night off from deads. Got a good sweat going on with the sled drags.

great training. I just made a pull up bar out of pipe (of course) and it has the neutral grip thing. If I ever figure out how to take a picture, I’ll show you
I like that sled work.
maybe you just need a good hot soak?
epsom salt baths are the shit.
so what did you figure for the weight of your rocks?
Thanks MJ. Love to see your set up for chins and your prowler. And maybe one of you in a singlet.
Kev, I need a hot bath and a massage. I think the 100 rep deads and high rep powertec squats within a few days of each other were too much for me. I’ve got to remember I’m almost 42 years old.
George, like your new avatar. I’m guessing (hoping) the ones I train with are around 200 - 250 lbs. I need to measure them and get a better estimate.
Take them to UPS and weigh them…
100 rep deads? ouch. you’re a maniac
Good idea Kev. Actually our town dump has a big scale I maybe could ask them to use.
Pete,I did a timed 100 rep deadlift with 275 lbs last week. That would take you like 2 minutes with one hand.
Took my home scale outside and weighed my two training stones. The smaller pyramid shaped stone is 212 lbs and the bigger oval shaped stone is 226.5 lbs. I was hoping they were more.

Did you make your own stones from a mold?

Nope. These are stones I found in my yard. The last ice age left them all over the place in NH.

Forearms are toast. Felt great.
I’m definitely in summer mode. Training whatever I want, however I want, whenever I can. Strongman, bodybuilding, powerlifting and bodyweight training are all on the menu. Not worrying about the amount I’m lifting or hitting PRs. I’ll get back to that in September.
I suspect when you get back to it you’ll find your numbers have gone up.

Thanks Joe. I hope you’re right.
I get home last night with the intention of doing front squats,GMS and ab rolls. My beautiful wife had other plans. Two of her brothers are coming in from out of town this weekend and will be staying with us for several nights.
So I was changing bed sheets amd pillow cases, washing blankets, vacuuming, putting away laundry, putting another airconditioner in the guest bedroom…everything except front squats,GMs and ab rolls. Son has hockey intil 6 tonight so I won’t get home until 7. So only 50% chance of training today. This family thing really puts a damper on working out.
A true Renaissance man!!! Awesome traiing…it must be a summer thing as I am doing the same “whatever moves me” that day type training…And Joe is right, I bet my last dollar in September you will find yourself much stronger. Just stay away from the hornets!
OG, no run ins with stinging insects for a couple weeks now. Not sure I’m a Renaissance man. More like a confused old guy. But thanks.

stone lifting,carrying and rolling
I found a new stone a little bigger then my 226 lb stone. Rolled it up out of the bushes over to my training area. A cool new addition to my collection.
