Congrats on the boys hockey (not the fight. although I don’t have an issue with it) Sounds like they have a great time playing.

Why would you spend half the price of a bottle of Beam for an ab roller? That’s what dumbells are for…

speaking of dumbells, I spent $8 on an exercise ball. Because I am a flaming kwear. and because I wanted to do some of those Chad Waterbury exercises.

Maybe I could bring my ab wheel over to your place and we could be flaming kwears together. That just doesn’t sound right.

I don’t think he’ll ever do anything like that again. I talked to him about the reasons his actions were a bad decision. My wife on the other hand wanted to kill him. I almost had to throw water on her to cool her down. We’re all afraid of her.

Moms are like that. And it is a good thing. But sometimes things happen. That is part of being a guy. And, no, I am not advocating it. As a guy, though, (and sometimes even as a gal) sometimes you have to mix it up a couple of times, lest people think they can run over you and you end up in a lot more skirmishes.
It is not how the world should be…but it is what it is.

Every parent in the stands is always yelling to play more aggressive. Work harder. So why are they so surprised when two kids go at it. I’m never surprised. Actually I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more often.

You’re not supposed to fight in hockey? what is the point then?

good training in here too.

Exactly Pete. But I have to do the good parenting thing, Blah, blah, blah…you know the deal.

6/28
squats 335x5,405x5,455x5,520x2
sldl 315x10,10 275x10,5,5
ab rolls

Grabbed my swim shorts off the deck and threw them on without checking them out. Didn’t realize there was an angry hornet in them waiting to sting me in the ass. Boy was I surprised when he started stinging me over and over.

I dont know who was more surprised you or the hornet!!! Nice squats ECO…

I’ll definitely check my shorts before putting them on from now on.

As much as I enjoy sprinting they always leave my heals aching for several days afterwards. I’ve been limping since Sundays sprint workout. Anyone else get this?

Got to be the hornet. I mean how often do you expect to be crushed by ass?

6/30
1a.MP 155x5,175x5,195x5, push press 195x6
1b.chin/pull ups 5 sets
2a.bow flex chest press 5 sets 10-20 reps
2b.fat bar rows 5 sets 6 reps

It was one of those days that I felt great but was weak as a kitten. 195 felt like 225 tonight. Wish I had a good excuse.

Been hitting the ab roller almost every night. Bang out 5-20 reps each set.

still nice work none the less

still some stout push presses and ab roller every night?

ab roller is the best 10$ thing ever

1a.MP 155x5,175x5,195x5, push press 195x6 = weak as a kitten?

Kevin,I keep the ab roller in the livingroom and bang out a few reps several times a night. I should have abs of steel in a week or two.

Harry, couldn’t believe how heavy everything felt. Get some sleep over my vacation next week and try this workout again.

Are you doing these off knees or off toes?

Don’t worry, your “off” days are way better than most peoples “great” days.

Hitting the abs hard each day could make you feel weaker on overhead pressing as your stability would suffer if your abs were fatigued.

Still as strong as an ox and I like the way you still speak out against the gear, I don’t anymore, got in too many arguments.

I do the ab roller off my knees for now. I don’t dislike gear I just prefer lifting with a belt, chaulk and occational knee wraps. But its fun to give Pete a hard time. Damn dirty gear whore.

sure, its hard, but not hard as anal sex

So true MJ.

7/3
deadlift 275 x 100 reps in 18 minutes
19 sets x 5 reps, 1 set x 10 reps, double overhand grip, no belt

The first 50 were easy. Then my back stiffened up. The last 20 were painfull.

ab roller 50 reps (several sets)

First time stopping by your log. Outstanding numbers, look forward to following your training.
