The only thing I’ve heard about convict training is always do your toe touches with your back to the wall!
I looked the book up, it looks good. Not sure just anyone could build up to 50 pistols or 5 one arm chins though.

Ha ha… I still contend that you are trying to pull a fast one on bulldog and me. You are just waiting for one of us to hit 290# and then you are going to post your video.

Kevin,surprisingly no burpees. Pushups,pullups,handstand press,pistols,hanging leg raises and bridges. I like the workout part in the book. The rest I skimmed very quickly through.
Skip, I’ve already MP 350 lbs. I just don’t want to make you feel bad.
Canada_K, have you read the book?? I skimmed over it last night. I’d like to incorporate some of the material into my workouts.
I haven’t deloaded for a bit. Gonna do BW only stuff from the ‘Convict Conditioning’ book over the next week.

This was a much needed rest from heavy squats. Yard work tomorrow.My wife had rocks delived today. Truck got stuck in the yard and had to dump the load quite a ways from where we wanted. Wheelbarrow central tomorrow.
I had a stone lifters dream on Saturday. My wife decided she wanted a raised garden type area partially surronded with big rocks. So I proceeded to collect 200+ lb rocks from around the yard. Several of these stones have to be 500+ lbs. I’ll get some pictures to post.
I looked at the ads for the book and the BW stuff itself looked sound but there was a lot of “this is bad” stuff about lifting that seemed full of shit.

I think you had them dropped there deliberately, just so you could carry them all!!
How are you moving the 500 lb ones?, rolling them into a wheelbarrow?
Joe,I’m just picking the stuff I like and ignoring the rest. I skipped all the prison stories/weight lifting bashing and got right to the workouts.
Brett, the big stones we rolled or got them into the wheelbarrow. Fun stuff.

Tried to do a little weight lifting and some BW exercises.
I was planning on squats and bench tonight but my wife had a surprise 4 tons of granite rocks delivered ranging from 18’’ to 3 feet in length. I’ll have to carry them about 100 feet. The driver asked my wife how we planned on moving the rocks. When she said by hand. I guess he laughed.
