1.deadlift 420x2,2,2,2,2
2.MP 185x2,2,2,2,2
2b.chins BWx2,2,2,2,2
Had 8+ hours of sleep two nights in a row. Feeling great today. Sleep really is a good thing.

1.squat 420 8x2 reps
2a.bench 280 8x2
2b.bb rows 225 8x2
A little Doulas Hepburn routine today. I may try something like this for a bit. But instead of 8x2 I’m gonna change it to 5x2. 8x2 takes to long.

Ive been thinking along those same lines. Squat, bench, and OHP for a while. 3 days a week and complexes and cardio the other days.

What, did you send the family away? quit your job? please tell me how to do this…
Wilson, that’s the plan. Basic exercises with so cardio.
Pete,my kids are 9 and 11 and will sleep until 8 am on the weekends. So even if I get to bed at midnight I still can get 8 hours.

1.shovel dog poop into wheelbarrow(a months worth). dump into woods
2.seven hill sprints

I think it was the Soviet weightlifters of the 70’s who first discovered the benefits of shovelling dog poop into wheelbarrows.
That’s where the acronym GPP comes from, Gathering Pooch Plop!!!

due to the layers of snow I had roughly 3 months of two 150lb dogs exrement to clean up over a two week melting process. it made me stronger
Brett, shoveling shit has been standard GPP for many athletes. Its a well known fact.
Pete,I wouldn’t want to clean up after those two. One 80 lb dog is enough.

1.squat 420x3,3,3,3,3
2a.bench 280x3,3,3,3,3
2b.BB row 225x3,3,3,3,3
Not to tough. Trying a slow moving approach. Which I’ll get sick of in about two weeks and switch back to all out every workout.

1.deads 420x3,3,3,3,3
2a.MP 185x3,3,3,3,3

My 14 year old nephew who weighs 137 lbs deadlifted 250x13 in my basement today. He’s been lifting at home. I showed him zerchers and deads this past summer. Guess he listened.
Gripes, you lift a lot.
I seriously envy your deads and squats but I do not envy your dog poop shoveling in the slightest.
Thanks guys.

1.squat 420x5x5
2a.bench 285x5x5
2b.bb rows 225x5x5
I suck at being patient. Squating 420x5x5 really killed me. I had to rest for an hour or so before I finished.
I like this new style of training
nice work.
I think I was your nephews size my second year in college
Most people would need a lifetime to recover from 5x5x420 so I think an hour is quite reasonable.
HOLEE SHIT!! 420x5x5 is a killer! I’m sore reading it!

Well those three exercises probably hit every muscle in the human body.
And as someone whose done a lot of 5x5 on squats, I can categorically tell you that 420 is phenomenal.
Not too many people are capable of that!
Thanks guys. Been reading about raw squating stance width today. Think I’ve been squating to wide. Gonna bring it in an inch or two next squat workout. Deadlifts tonight. Hopefully pull 420x5x5.
nice work in here Stevo

I think I need to do a wave of 5 x 5 stuff. At some point. It just looks like sooo much work, lol.

I don’t like that after squats or deads you’re so spent the rest of the workout is a drag.
