Ha ha hahahahahaha. I needed a laugh this morning.

Trade ya!

Nice work, Steve.

Skip,my tris are the weak link in all my pressing.

powertec squats 10 (total plates)x10,10 8x10,10,10

Thats it. I was spent.

Again, nice work.
Push presses feel awkward to me. Might be because I haven’t done them in 23 years.

Really good pressing.

Thanks Skip & Harold. I read a deadlifting article over on elitefts that says if you pull sumo throw regular deads in for reps to beef up the low back. Guy put 100+ lbs on his deads in a year.

4/8

2b.BB rows 185x5x10 (strict, pull to bottom of chest)

did you stop the 60 day challenge?

some good training- nice pressing

George, stopped a week or so ago. I haven’t felt like doing anything lately. Any free time I just want to sit and do nothing.

Thanks Kevin.

My motivation has been ebbing. I still get through it, but I need to mentally knuckle down to get back to results.

There must be something going around.

I’m the same, about to have a break until Monday at least. My mind is willing but my body’s not. Neck/trap twinge, followed by torn blisters, followed by slight groin pull tonight is a sign I probably shouldn’t ignore.

Hope the fire’s back in your belly soon.

That 8x300 is some pretty fierce pressing.

Thanks all. Maybe we all have a bit of burnout. Did 3 rounds of BW chins, pushups and squats with my oldest son. Had to really assist him with the chins. Now he thinks he can do chinups.

I may have given up in the 60 day challenge but I have been doing the ‘yoga for big bastards’ exercises 4-5 days a week. I’ve actually found improvement on my squating depth and it doesn’t hurt to do these stretches any more.

That’s great! My wife talks about the flexibility improvements that came with her doing yoga. Of course, she still can’t touch my bench arch.

Videos, please. Because if you doing yoga looks anything like me doing yoga, it’ll be good for some chuckles.

You just want to see me bent over don’t you?

We all have our kinks! lol

Ha,ha,ha. Isn’t that the truth Skip.

4/15
1.squat 420 8x2 reps
2a.bench 280 8x2
2b.bb rows 225 8x2

A little Doulas Hepburn routine today. I may try something like this for a bit. But instead of 8x2 I’m gonna change it to 5x2. 8x2 takes to long.
