Does it do anything fro putting mass on your legs?

Nice work in here NHLFTR. Hope all is well on your end!

And this confirmed that I don’t like training in the morning.

Word! I tried morning workouts for 3 weeks, felt like a zombie for 3.5 weeks, and I wasn’t even doing anything that strenuous. And it made my legs hairy.

Skip, coaches can be nut bags. 28 100 yard sprints is just cruel.
Dave, thanks bro. Going to get my bench back over 400 in a bit.
Paul, I need hair on my head. What time of day do I train for that?
L2TG, hopefully take some mass of my stomach. And everything is going well for me. Hope all is well with you.
Mini, a hairy legged zombie. Getting quite the image in my head.

The dam broke and I’ve been eating everything the past couple days . I need to get back at it tomorrow. Get into the 240s over the next two weeks.

Brother do I know that feeling! The dam hasn’t broken on my, yet. But I have definitely had a few leaks over the past 7 weeks. The longer this goes on, the higher the chance, though. If my workouts keep lagging, the chance increases significantly.

Strong deads, Steve. You never fail to impress, whether strength, volume or variety.

Great dead work. I would bet you needed to do some eating with that kind of lifting going on.

Skip, I was much better today. Actually didn’t eat nearly enough.

GV, I’ve been bulking for 25 years staight so a negative input to output ratio for a while will do me some good.

I did a bunch of yard work today. Bark mulched and moved all my outdoor equipment from one side of the yard to the other. But I got a quick workout in tonight. Brought my dbs back down to the basement (30,25,20,15,10).

And this is a perfect example…
Variety - with the yard work and moving of the outdoor equipment
Strength - with the MP
Showing off - with the chin-ups
Vanity - with the curls

It’s the total package…

Just call me Rick Flair. The total package. (or the nature boy would be ok too)

I try not to complain to often but I seem to be working around a nagging ache every week lately. My knees are freaking killing me. I squatted tonight but had to stop after 420. I wanted to stop after the barx5. I’m going to try glucosamine/chondrotin/msm. But on a positive note sldl felt great.

sldl 3.5’’ deficit 225x3 315x3 365x3 405x3 365x3 315x3

Well, with your outdoor work, you kind of are ā€œThe Nature Boyā€.

That’s funny. 420# made my knees hurt to…the one or two times I was able to do it.

I think the glucosamine/chondrotin/MSM helped me. I have tried so many things that it is hard to remember.

I want no spooning in this log!

Skip, I’m sure before your back issues your were squatting a lot more than 420. I’ll post if the glucosamine stuff helps.

Paul, woah! Who said anything about spooning? Maybe a hug, that’s all.

Actually, I never did more that 395#, prior to starting logging here and getting up to 4-something.

Please do. I would be interested to know/remember. Anything to make the body hurt a little less.

Nice benching, Steve. That x14 looks a bit out of place.
Also, nice OH pressing. Interesting mix. I bet it got a good burn.

The x14 is the final all out set of 5/3/1 workout. The heavier sets after are called joker sets. All part of Wendler’s latest (that I know of) workout.

What’s your form look like? Would you post a vid so we can see? Perhaps the knee is form related? Tough to say without seeing it but just throwing that out there.

Aching knees are a bitch. Nice upper body work. Boswellia Serrata is a great help for arthritic pain or joint mobility, I take it everyday and it helps a bunch.

Serious training here as always Steve. Have you tried your hand at a strongman contest yet?
