Hey thanks guys. I try to keep chipping away at the stone.

I bought an adjustable bench the other day so I tried inclines for the first time in years. I only used a low incline. And I used a 2 board press to keep my shoulders happy. And yes my legs are so short I need the 4’’ board so my feet can touch.

Time for a cry session so I’ll get my tissues out. I ‘popped’ my lower back doing deads last night. I’m walking around hunched over like Quasimodo today. And I strained/torn something in my left forearm so its quite painful doing some pulling exercises especially chin-ups. So I’m taking a few days off. Maybe do some BW stuff. Maybe just watch netfilx. Crying session is now over.

Work the pain angle, lot of moaning and groaning, get massages from the wife. Heal up.

Nice bench. Almost embarrassed to admit it but I’ve never used a band in lifting.

Harry, I’m not sure how much bands and chains really add. They’re just fun to use. For me it keeps things feeling new.

Work gym today

1a. face pulls 100x3x12-15
1b. db shrugs with 2 sec hold at top 75’s x3x10-15
2. db curls 50’s,40’s,35’s,25’s
3a. rope pushdowns 100x3x15-20
4a. timed hangs from pull up bar x 3 sets
4b. OH squat with 45 lb plate x 2 sets

I called it an overhead squat but it was more of a stretching thing. It wasn’t pretty.

My oldest was benching in the rack so I came up with a plan B workout. Lifting the stone felt awesome. Can’t wait to get outside.
