He’s enjoying lifting. He squatted last night at 10 after he got home from work. I wanted to go to bed but went to the basement with him for moral support. I got a workout in a little earlier.

Thanks all. Hope you all have a great fathers day (both men and woman). I made some ribs that came out awesome today. They’re so easy to make I don’t know why I don’t make them more often. Both Kainen and I hit the weights after his morning hockey game.
I picked up a small rack and weights (45’s,25’s,10’s,5’s,2.5’s) from a woman my wife works with. The rack is kind of rinky dink but has a cable set up so we can do pushdowns, seated rows and other things like that. The 45 lb plates are small - just a little taller than a 35.
Paul, wish you’d have been here. I had enough for a few more people. An hour or so after the ribs we dragged the trap bar outside and did a bunch of carries with 315. I may be in rough shape tomorrow. Now I’m enjoying some bourbon on ice.
Harry, I had very relaxing Father’s Day. Lifting and eating. Hope you did as well.

I like single arm seated rows with my new toy. Adding them into the mix. The football bar makes the weight feel much heavier than a straight bar.
Measured the box at 16.75 inches. A little higher than I thought but this height feels comfortable. My goal was to box squat 405x10 but after that my back had another set in it so I had to try 455. After 455 my back was done. Wide grip sldl, hams and back tomorrow night.
