New Hampshire Lifter II

One can of the six pack?

If it is a hernia, I have an umbilical hernia. I just put the belt directly over it. Of course, I am not pushing the weight you are?

It’s the entire length of the center of my abs. I think it’s diastasis recti. Looks like an alien coming out of my stomach when I do sit-ups. So I’m going to back the weight off and get reps in.

Whoa! Take care of that! Hope it is an easy fix!

Says ā€œno heavy Squatsā€ā€¦then posts a double @ 505lbs…Nice.

That Ab issue sounds tough man-I’ll be hoping for a decent Dr. report. Like you said, you’ll get some reps in and regroup soon.

My oldest came out and pushed with me.

I tried a prowler yesterday in gym on 50 foot lane of astro turf. What surface(s), distances and weight loads do you think make a good workout?

Mac, my only experience with a prowler is on my driveway on an incline. I’m not sure what the weights I use on turf would feel. I imagine lighter weight over longer distance with shorter rest periods would build endurance. Heavier, shorter pushes would build size and strength. Trial and error. Sorry I’m not any help. Going to follow your progress.

Moved as quickly as I could. I had no interest pushing the prowler afterwards but my son asked me to.

I must confess I have never used or tried a prowler. There was a time, back when, I’d push my old Toyota truck to the end of our drive way and back. Not sure if that’s the same.

Steve, pushing on an incline, if it’s a smooth surface, ought to be a great calf workout and a rough surface would just be even better.

I assume you’ll not be pushing in snow? That would make a great photo op.

I was doing the same with my F150 for a while.

Crippler, I forgot to mention how loud the prowler is pushing it on pavement. If you’re looking for a quiet workout push it on grass.
