I didn’t think I was a beginner until I found this site.
I have actually been lifting and training for a little over 10 years now, but on an inconsistent basis and with little nutritional knowledge. In high school, I knew nothing about nutrition and ate like crap so I left there at 5’9", 135lbs. - soaking wet.
In college, I learned how to lift real weights and learned a little about nutrition. I left college at 5’9.5" and 185 lbs with about 13%bf. Since college, I got a nice job that pays well, but involves me sitting on my can behind a desk all day. At my worst, I was about 225. I have learned a ton in the last 6-12 months and am sitting at 190-193 right now, on my way down to a lean (10% b/f) 175-180 lbs. From there, I would like to see 190-195 again, but only at 10% bf, not the 17-18% I am at right now
Anyway, this is a great site with good articles, intelligent discussions and, from what I’ve used so far, excellent quality supplements. I anticipate sticking around for quite a while to soak up as much info as I can
If you have a question that can’t be answered here then it’s probably about inter stellar dust or something.
Even then…[/quote]
Just make sure to post that in the Get a Life forum, unless it is interstellar dust that is meant to build muscle mass, then post in the supplements and nutrition forum.
Yeah, I can’t see myself posting too much anytime soon since:
I still have tons to learn
there is a ton of information on here and I have only scratched the surface of most. Reading it all will probably take up so much time that I won’t time to post up much.
