I’m looking into buying some new equipment for the house, and was wondering what you all thought about New York Barbell products? Any info would be much appreciated.

Great people. Great company. I bought a power rack from them and the add on for the pullups. They sent it to the wrong address. They appoligized immediately and re-shipped it I had it in days they didn’t even bat an eye about the shipping costs etc. They were wonderful. Friendly helpful staff too. I didn’t even remember which power rack I had bought when I went to buy the accessory to it I totally blanked they stayed on the line with me asking me questions about the equipmetn till they could figure out the model from my questions. Long story longer they are great. Go with it.

Thanks for the reply knuckledragger. I was impressed with their website and their prices, but wanted to make sure their equipment was of sound build (it looked like it). Sounds like you’re impressed with them so I’ll give them a try. Thanks again.

I use their bumper plates at the gym, and they are just as good as Eleikos.

Northern Lights makes very nice equipment, I have $3,000 worth of their equipment and it was worth every penny.

i have alot of equipment thru new york barbell.i can honestly say that they have been great when it comes to something breaking or whatever.i had two minor things break,an ab strap and a stool seat,and they resolved the problem quickly for me.i have a power rack gym coming in from them this week made by tds.prices are decent and the people are great.good luck to you.

Again, thanks for all the relpies. Sounds like you all are very happy with this company. Josh I’ll do a little looking for your Northern Lights to see what they’re like.

Man, I just got some powerblocks (pro rexan up to 85lbs), and they rock. I vote for these. You can tweak the weight 2.5 lbs increments.

I’ll put in a good word for Northern Lights too…I have several pieces of their stuff and it’s all well built. I just picked up a glute/ham raise bench from Elite Fitness and it’s a beast! Awesome piece.
