New Blood

I’ve never submitted myself for open public review, so have at it. I’ve been lifting a few years but have never been super strict with it. Hit some “decent” maxes back in December, but broke my hand and was put on a no-gym medical profile by the Army.

Current lifts (as of 3/1/14):
Squat- 320 for 3 sets, 5 reps
Bench- 190 for 3 sets, 5 reps
Deads- 370 for 1 set, 5 reps
Press- 140 for 3 sets, 5 reps
Cleans- 185 for 5 sets, 3 reps

I’m a PFC in the Army that doesn’t make very much money, and has no way to cook food aside from a microwave (barracks rooms don’t have sh*t in them), so following a strict diet isn’t always feasible. I eat mostly, fruit, brown and wild rice with beans, vegetables (usually raw), salads (sometimes), and whey protein shakes although I’m opting out of animal products from my diet. I do have a sweet tooth that plagues me and try to retain some self control but it doesn’t always work. At least I just finished my last box of Tasty Cakes.

Disregard my human thumb face please.

Legs

Back. Clueless when it comes to posing

Looking very solid, especially the wheels. If you’re concerned with aesthetics, my only suggestion would be to add some direct arm work. Otherwise keep lifting hard and eating lots of clean food.

And most importantly, thank you for your service.

I am not going to rip ya for anything my friend. It sound like you are doing the best with what you have. Stick with it and when you situation changes add some more quality foods (emphasis on proteins)and pound the weights. You have some strong numbers to build on and some potential. Just try to add to them.
