New Adidas AdiStars

You’re right - she’s wearing the Equipment model, which is the best shoe they ever made. But you still fail because you looked at the shoes. I didn’t bother. I was too busy wondering why they both did that strange but cute little “hey” before every lift.

Steiner was wearing some though, that’s definitely the case.

Black Rogue Do Win way cool.

You’s a lying motherfucker.

Women’s weightlifting is going right next to women’s gymnastics and volleyball on my TiVo when the Olympics start, tell you that right now. Holy crap. I may have to take up Olympic weightlifting if the women are that fine.

“Say baby, how about you and I go back to my room and I show you my snatch technique?”

SLAP

“What’d I say?!”

I’m in the market for some squat shoes, are the Dowins good quality?[/quote]

Yup, they are great shoes…worn at alot of the Olympics.

You can buy them here ( http://www.werksanusa.com/products-shoe-shirts.asp ), I would e-mail them first. We tried to make an order from Canada and they said we’d have order over $500 worth, and the shipping was expensive we we opted out.

If you can’t get them there e-mail a rep off this site ( http://www.quest-nutrition.com/default.aspx . They carry the shoes I’ll post below. Inexpensive as well.

DL shoes

Yah the Rouge’s are badass, same as the black ones I posted but suede with two velcros and an all black sole.

Do you guys know where I can buy the new AdiStars? Or will I have to wait until the Olympics start?

I don’t think they’ve been released yet…

I bought a pair of the Rogue Do-Win’s a few weeks ago, and they are the sechs. The heel is lower than the other Do-Wins and the same height as the Addidas ones. I love them.

Nice that they have the breathing holes in the bottom. I’ve got the Ironworks II (I think, the red and silver ones) and they are hot on the feet. Also the insole is nasty synthetic. I can wear Chucks all summer without socks and they don’t smell, these Adidas are now so foul I have to leave them in the garage.

anyone here not like shoes with heels for lifting?
i use converse and just ordered asics split second VI wrestling shoes because better grip, support than converse but still no heel, i prefer it for squats.

deads - flat converse all stars
squat - heel

why heel for squats? i dont like it maybe its a preference

Quite a few of the guys who lift in the IPF/USAPL wear a heeled shoe. I squat fairly narrow, pretty much the same as Hanley. It feels more comfortable and I never have a problem hitting depth.

hmmmm, maybe its cuz im huge idk, i like to not be on my toes when i squat i feel like ill come up off my feet, but i havent tried more advanced lifting shoes just liek regular sneakers

Your weight should still be on your heels, it just alters the angle of the ankle joint during the lift.

If your feet are narrow, go with the Adidas adistars. . They fit my feet like a glove and make Olympic back squats and front squats feel like nothing to me.

I wouldn’t say that I squat narrow now… just not stupid multiply wide.
