Never Give Up...Ever

I have been dealt several setbacks recently in my training. About 5 weeks ago, I dislocated my shoulder. After working through it and getting to where my former strength was, I got set back again with a MASSIVE upper respiratory infection. The point is I am not giving up. I am planning my recovery as we speak and will return and surpass where I was.

The point is that set backs happen and more often than one would like to believe or admit. The point is to never stop trying.

This post is mainly geared to newbies ( a word I actually hate) because for many of you, it is preaching to the choir. The reason I am bothering to post, is because I have known several people lately, just give up because they hit a set back and (lost what they gained) I have been doing this shit for years, and I can promise if you keep trying despite set backs, it will work and will work well. Gains are cyclical. It seem, you’ll make great gains for a while and then plateau. That?s friggin life. Just don’t give up, period; you will succeed if you don’t.

P.S. I ain’t looking for no kudos and don’t want any, I just to want folks to stop training because of set backs, it is too much fun and too cool to stop.

Shutting up…
