In march 2008, A movie titled never back down was released to illustrate one boy’s journey to becoming a great martial artists. Most people take this movie as a joke and say that it is fake. However, if you watch the movie you can see that it is accualy a very good view of MMA technique and fight flow. If you’ve seen the movie, post your opinion here, if you haven’t I suggest you check it out.
The only thing that movie did was make a lot more douchebags think they’re hard and want to pick fights at the bars. “I’m going UFC bitches!!!1!111!!”
Just seeing the previews for that piece of shit made me go UFC on my tv.
I liked the movie better when it was called “Showdown” 15 years ago, starring Billy Blanks.
oh you mean karate kid part 8?
. . . what?
Keep in mind, there was no “epic fail” until this movie came out.
Fucking Google that Shit.

lol i was thinking the samething.
I think I have to be the odd one out here and say, I think that that film’s actually quite good, it’s a bit cheesy and mainstream but the fights are quite good and the story flows quite well. by the end of it you really wanna smack the bad guy sooooo
every mixed martial arts school can expect a bunch of wanna be’s to sign up for 1 month after watching this movie…and tapout sales have tripled.
On the upside, I have something hilarious to say anyone asks how to get good at MMA…
just never back down.
and always ask them how your big peepee taste

If you want to see a good view of MMA technique and fight flow you should watch, hmm… a Mixed Martial Arts match.
Oh btw, I was thinking of taking my boxing to the next level, is watching Cinderella man 3 X a week and Rocky on fridays overtraining? Should I do Rocky / Ranging Bull splits or what?
Good movie. Not an award winner or anything but I like that someone tried it. Entertaining.

FUck that shit, I haven’t even watched the movie and I never, ever will. The previews alone were enough to tell me that this piece of shit represents everything I abhor about the current trends in MMA.
Well congratulations on being close-minded and I wish you luck with that in the future.
Not bad, entertaining, some good aspect of workout. Hey think about it…its designed for general public , not just mma fans, they wanna make money…My girlfriend enjoyed it…not great but good movie to rent on a day of rain!

Congrats on successfully turning fifteen, next year you can get your license.
All I’m saying is you should see a movie before you talk shit, an eight year old could tell you that. Crash was the worst movie possibly ever made but I watched it before I said it didn’t deserve an Oscar.
I don’t have to be fucked in the ass to tell you I wouldn’t like it

LOL, Ain’t it the truth!
The fights ain’t too bad, but the whole movie is like watching the OC but instead of whining or sleeping with their girlfriend’s best friend they kick the shit out of each other. Just like in real life.
