Not yet…I have noticed that my quit bugging the shit outta me sense has been heightened. Needless to say I was a little grumpy yesterday.[/quote]

Haha funny. Yeah low-carb will do that to you. My wife always knows when I’m going low-carb. She goes- oh it must be that time of the month… Isn’t she lovely?

Day 3 Supplement outline:
6:45- 2-HRX, 3-BCAA’s
7:45- Metabolic Drive w/ 1/4 Flax meal.
10:45- Metabilic Drive w/ 1/4 Flax meal, 2-Flameout.
2:15- Metabolic Drive w/ 3-BCAA’s, 2-Flameout.
5:15- Metabolic Drive w/ 1/4 Flax, Peanut Butter, 1-HRX
8:45- Metabilic Drive w/ 3-BCAA’s, 1/4 Flax

Day 3 was pretty tough. still very grumpy but I am getting a handle on it. My wife is having a reall hard time staying on the diet. She is a sweetheart but not a great diet partner. I told her I wasn’t feeling well yesterday and she said “You know what would help, a Pizza!” I agree it would help me fail!

The past 2 days I have been feeling very crappy after my 4:30-5:30 shake. It is the only shake that I am putting Peanut Butter in. I feel like tossing my cookies afterwards. I think I will try and find a sub for the Peanut Butter to see if that will help. Maybe Almond Butter? Any suggestions from the T-Vixens or T-men out there?

Hey great job so far and keep it up. Thanks for the post. I’m only 17 so I don’t have to worry about pissing off wifey over a diet, but my mom hits me with plenty of the maybe you would have more energy if you ate some dinner and I don’t know HOW you do it, if it was me I’d eat again.

What helps me is I just have a focusing tool. Whenever it gets horrible I just look at a picture of my fat ass and then look at myself in the mirror. If that doesn’t work I think about sex, works every time ;).

I’m honestly feeling a lot better now though still a bit tired. I think you’re hitting rock bottom on your glycogen stores, it happened to me mainly yesterday and a bit today.

I’ve been drinking 1 gallon of green tea a day and about 3/4 a gallon of water and I think the caffeine and antioxidants and all that in the green tea help, but it may just be in my head and that’s ok with me as long as it keeps helping.

Good luck and keep your head up.

what brand green tea do you drink?

Bromley. It’s good stuff. But I add some brandless, staight out of china town green tea that my neighbor gets when she goes.

I know your question was not directed at me but I am using a type of Green Tea called Genmaicha. It’s green tea with roasted brown rice. There’s still 0 calories but the roasted rice gives the green tea a great flavor. No need for a sweetener.

Okay now I do. I just walked in my living room and smelled a distant neighbors BBQ like it was in my kitchen. I will make sure to only use these super powers for good and not evil. :stuck_out_tongue:

Alright well the wife is out so it looks like it’s just me. She said that the diet was making her rather sick and dizzy feeling. Day 4 has brought on a lot of surprises. I am feeling a lot better than I thought I would. I have a good amount of energy and today is the first day I really feel like I can do this!

She was probably going through glycogen depletion. Tell her to stick it out if there is still time.

Well she has already threw in the towel. I can understand. I think she was trying the diet more for me than herself. Even though it was her decision. It has to be something that you want personally and not something you are trying to do for someone.

Day 4-

06:45 - HRX and BCAA’s
07:15 - Metabolic Drive, 1/4 flax, 1/2 Flameout.
10:30 - Metabolic Drive, 1/4 flax, BCAA’s
01:30 - Metabolic Drive, 1/4 flax. 1/2 Flameout.
05:00 - Metabolic Drive.
09:00 - 1/2 Surge
10:15 - Metabolic Drive, 1/4 flax, BCAA’s.

Yesterday I had a late workout so my Surge was taken later in the day. Only took 1/2 of a serving since it was so close to my last shake. Also I didn’t include PB in my shake and I didn’t get that I need to hurl feeling. I may try to sub with some Almond or Sunflower butter. I didn’t get a chance to pick any up yesterday.

Day 5- So far this morning I am feeling very good. I am feeling less hungry and less crazy. Things are starting to balance out.

Keep it going bro, just 23 more days. That’s it. Cake walk. Don’t be like everyone else and bail. Don’t do it!

Thx for the encouragement! Comments like that really help me to keep going.

Day 5 -

0645 - HRX + BCAA’s
0715 - Metabolic Drive, 1/4 Flax, 1/2 Flameout
1200 - Surge 1/2 during, 1/2 PWO
0200 - Metabolic Drive 1/4 flax, BCAA’s 1/2 Flameout
0515 - Metabolic Drive
0900 - Metabolic Drive, BCAA’s.

Day 5 went really well. I was so wrapped up in work I forgot my 2nd shake of the day. I didn’t use Peanut butter again and felt good. I will try and pickup some almond or sunflower butter today. I weighed myself yesterday and I was down to 218 from 224.5, not bad. Physically I don’t feel like I have lost that amount.

RANT - Time for a little rant. I am so sick of everyone saying “I don’t feel right eating in front of you”. It was my choice to start this diet no need to tip toe around me.

Hey,
Again, I am 8 days ahead of you, so speaking from my lofty experience

Week 2 is much easier. MUCH easier. I found my body had more or less adapted to the lower cals and the low carbs, and everything was feeling pretty normal.

I am guessing weeks 3&4 are challenging only in their uneventfulness. So thats all good.

Have you given any thought to your first meal?

6 pound lost bro! Nice. Mostly water to start but the fat loss comes very soon. I would personally suggest almond butter. It has a better taste than sunflower butter.

Question: what is your daily total intake of calories and the breakdown (protein in grams, fat in grams and carbs in grams?)

Just 22 more days now. Keep it up!

Day 6 - Saturday

0745 - HOT-ROX, BCAA’s
0850 - Metabolic Drive, Flax.
0100 - Real food! Chicken Breast, broccoli, cabbage salad (cabbage, sprouts, carrots). I ate 1/2 of the chx, I couldn’t stomach it all. Finished the other half with the rest of the cabbage salad around 0230.
0530 - Metabolic Drive, flax, BCAA’s
0900 1/2 Metabolic Drive, a little flax. Wasn’t feeling that hungry but needed something.

Day 6 went well. I had a hard time eating which I was really surprised about. So I had to split it up into two separate sittings. Overall feeling really good however I am still rather grumpy. Hopefully emotionally things will even out.

Day 7 - Sunday 10/29/06

0845 - HOT-ROX, BCAA’s
0915 - Metabolic Drive + flax
0100 - Metabolic Drive, Flameout
0350 - Metabolic Drive, cashew butter, flax.
0600 - 1/2 Metabolic Drive, small amount of pumpkin seeds.
0900 1/2 Metabolic Drive.

Today was really hard. The worst part was hating the taste of the Metabolic Drive today. I was just getting sick of it. The other hard part was not eating. After yesterday I really wanted to eat another meal. I stayed away from a meal and had a few pumpkin seeds while making them for the kids. I didn’t get enough calories today and I am finding this is becoming a problem and I have had this problem a few days in the diet so far. Still staying mentally strong though.

I don’t have the exact numbers at work. I will post these when I get home tonight. I think the cal intake is around 1300 non workout days and 1600 with a PWO shake.

Dude keep it up. If not for the fat loss then just for the fact that it makes you superior to almost everyone out there.

Just think of all those mindless zombies who lack the will power to ever achieve anything great and spent all of their lifes killing themselves with junk food and alcohol.
