I feel as though I arch my back too much while doing a MP, but if I don’t arch as much I feel like I can’t press the weight straight upwards. Maybe its just my flexibility?
Another Take:
Any suggestions are appreciated

It actually looks like your arching is more a matter of [lack of] core strength. You should try to focus on pulling your stomach in toward your backbone (by tightening your abs, like bracing for a punch, and rotating the hips upward to negate the arch) and just keeping your lower back straight. Another form cue is to try to squeeze your glutes together.
Deadlifts and good mornings can help build the spinal erector strength to fight that arching.
Also, try to not let your wrist flex backwards quite so far. Try keeping your forearms directly under the bar.
EDIT: clarified my statement about “pulling your stomach in”. Do NOT suck in your abs.

Not really sure how the spit takes are supposed to help,
I have been lifting for about 4 months. Before that I was doing insanity.

Only long enough to parrot information and share what’s helped for me.
Maybe you interpreted what I said as “sucking in the stomach”. I meant the “valsava maneuver” + bracing the abs + avoiding hyperlordosis via lumbar flexion.
Valsava maneuver with hyperlordosis isn’t going to do anything. Lumbar flexion without bracing the abs isn’t going to do anything either.

great, here is a cracker and some advice. do NOT suck in your abz. tighten them like you are going to get hit. if you wear a belt, then take a big breath and push out against the belt.

Good, we’re in agreement. I didn’t say to suck in the abs. I used a bad choice of words earlier when I said “pull your stomach toward your backbone”. Sucking in your abs, and bracing your abs both achieve that same result of bringing your stomach in more than a completely relaxed stomach.
“Pinching a coin between your butt cheeks” is also a good form cue to keep the tightness through the glutes, and thus rotate the hips to keep the lumbar region more upright.

That is comedy GOLD
Nobody’s going to let me live that one down.
Anyway, you shouldn’t be arching your lower back like that. That’s the takeaway.
asooneyeonig is a known troll.

you dont look to bad to me but I am the king of turning my torso into a floating bench when I strict press. Just stay tight and you will be fine a belt might help some none the less.
You want to have your elbows start slightly ahead of the bar at the start, and straighten as you press. For the problem with the back, I recommend the form cue “squeeze the glutes” and keeping the back as straight as possible.
Thanks much for all the advice, I’m going to be doing them again tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes
Straighten up those wrists before you fuck something up
Not to say caveman is wrong but just for a two cents thing I have incredible flexibility in my wrists my training partners find it insane but I press well over 250 with extremely bent wrists and feel perfect the second I straighten them up espeacially with a axle I loose the bar every single time. Just saying… although wrist wraps if you plan on continuing on with that would be a wise investment.

And again how long? 3 month a year or more???
I was doing my military press today (5x10 on 531 boring but big) and I was getting very light headed on the first set and I think it had something to do with my breathing. Basically I would take a deep breath, unrack, and press. At the top of the press I would exhale and inhale as I lowered the bar. It wasn’t until about halfway through when I got light headed and dizzy.
I find using a suicide (thumbless) grip is where it’s at for MP.
That wrist thing you got going on looks pretty scary.

dizziness is a precursor to becoming more awesome. keep it up.
