im planning on cutting for 6 weeks before im off to vacation land. im currently taking AAS and will still be on it for the 6 weeks of cutting. i plan to start cutting in about a week from today. im roughly about 16%~ BF.
thing is i never cut before, and i use to be one of those guys who thought reps was for cuts. anyways i came across a program http://www.T-Nation.com/readArticle.do?id=1499282
to help melt the fat. what, in your opinion and/or personal experience, would you think the best program would be for someone on AAS for cutting? any links to articiles would help greatly.
and as for dieting how should i approach this? i know how to eat well but im debating on wether going on a basic cutting diet (2500 cals, 100-150g clean carbs, 2g protien per LBM) or the anabolic diet.
any suggestions to a better program and/or diet would be much appreciated.
I don’t want to call this bogus or anything (or maybe I do, but just a little, I’ll explain), I’ll dish some helpful advice in a sec.
First, aren’t you supposed to have your training and nutrition up and running before you start a cycle? I’m not entirely knowledgeable on AAS use, but I always figured it was similar to other supplements, such as fat burners, and if your training/diet isn’t up to snuff, you’re short-changing yourself.
Back in this thread, you said you avoided doing twisting ab exercises because you didn’t want uneven abs. http://www.T-Nation.com/tmagnum/readTopic.do?id=1699803
I get the impression that you might not have the non-steroid part of training down just yet. If I’m wrong, totally tell me so. I’m not trying to be a twit about it, just stating what I see.
All that said, when it comes to training people on roids, a lot of general concepts go right out the window and the same rules don’t apply. There are some different factors at play. You might get some better luck picking the brains of the dudes in the Steroids forum.
As for diet, I’m wondering if the Anabolic Diet would be too much, on top of a change to serious training and assistance. But tons of people love it, so it could be worth a shot. And I’m pretty sure it usually allows for a higher calorie intake, so that might be a plus.
cutting program? for my competitive bodybuilders, i just train them heavy, short rest, short workout (an hour), cut down on carbohydrate intake like rice, increase protein intake like egg, add oil in their food and instruct them to eat 6 x a day or never allow themselves to be hungry.

lol i thought the intertwining abs was a legit question! a guy at the gym told me u get messed up abs like that from doing twists and doing machine work for abs. to me, this made sense (not the machine part) but i knew this guy was an idiot so i had to ask. and i got the abs i like, without doing twists, although i did use to do em but have grown to hate em.
speaking of idiot, your right i should have the routine/nutrition down before even starting my cycle. (i know how to eat for bulking, but im newb cutter) anyways here and there i think to myself maybe i should have put AAS off for another year… but then i think to myself and say fuck it cuz all the hard work i put into the gym ive earned this. will read the article u posted.
