Hey everyone I’m hoping you guys can give me some help here. A buddy of mine is a cop and is trying out for some special squad or something. He told me the name but it escapes me right now. All i know is that he said it is supposed to be extrememly difficult and involve things like obstacle courses, lots of running, chins, pushups, that kinda stuff. It’s 7 consecutive days and you are only allowed 3-4 hours sleep per night on average.
He’s gonna ask around and see how much he can find out about the specific tasks that he will need to do and when he passes them along to me i will post them here as i know a more detailed description will make it easier to make a program. I’ve always trained more for a muscles look then it’s functionality so I was hoping to get some help here. So he’s the question, if you guys had 6 months to train for this (lets just call it navy seals for simplicity) how would you eat and train.
Oh yah this guy is about 6’ 6" and around 260lbs, he completed a full marathon about 3 months back so his endurance is pretty strong. He’s in his late 30’s in good overall shape. Thanks for any advice guys.
