I workout about an hour after I have my breakfast (580 calories, 30g protein.) I also drink a carb-drink during my workout (120 calories, 20-30g carbs.) I have my breakfast finished by about 9am, so I start training at around 10, so I’m finished by 11.30.
After this I wait half an hour 'til I get home and have a wholefood meal (580 calories, 50g protein,) but this is around 3-4 hours after breakfast, so I’m going a fair while without taking in any protein.
Does this really matter, or should I have a whey shake right after I finish my workout, then get up home and have the food, or am I good just eating the meal? Thanks guys
