I usually train for strength but now my upper body is pathetic, or actually mostly all. Do u guys know of any good hypertrophy specific programs?
German volume, OVT, Waterbury method, dog crap, west side for skinny bastards, bill stars 5x5?..what, idk. What do you suggest?
I rly have no clue
pick one and eat enough, take in enough protein and calories. you will grow.
yea but does anyone have any suggestions? Or are the ones I named good?
I’d lift weights if I were you. Maybe there is a program or two on www.T-Nation.com
Don’t get your head too wrapped up in “programs”. I made the mistake of doing that about a year ago when I first started reading at abcbodybuilding.com and here and it really just got me all tensed and pissed.
All those are really good, but I hear a lot of people are in love with OVT, so if you want to try something I guess try that.
But to be honest all you have to do is eat right, eat a lot, and lift the weights.
For hypertrophy keep the rest periods to a minute and try to add more weight next time in the gym on every exercise.
It’s really simple if you just look at it like that and not get yourself confused/workedup of programs and all that shit.

I did a 3 day split for strength based off of this program a while back and liked it. I am going to start the 4 day a week for size next week.

GVT is an excellent program.

Can you please point me to the bathroom??? Can you come hold my PEE-pee too??
Lifting is lifting. Plain and simple. Go lift some stuff and get away from these designer programs. Keep it simple to start.
I think Ill the Waterbury method.
Does anyone ppl’s experiences with this routine?
