I had to pull out of the Mall, very hard for me to do, as I blew the left side of my back out last weekend while training with Shawn up in Iowa, 300# farmers did it. My right side has been messed up for almost a year now so I am going to take some time off and try to heal. If all goes well, I hope to compete again in July at the New York show.
Right now I am just working everyday to make the Nebraska Strongest Man the best it can be. Also, I am promoting a 100% RAW powerlifting meet in August, so I have plenty to do.

The contest is officially over half full. If you are going to want a spot, get your entry in or let me know. I will definitely keep the cap at 40, after that, entries will be put on a waiting list.
The goodies are starting to come in and the competitor bags are shaping up real nice, everyone should like them.
The top three in each division should be getting some other nice things to g o along with their awards. If all goes well, I am going to try and give a little something to each event winner of each class also.
That is all for now, I will keep updating the competitor list and the sponsor list.

Kansas Strongest Man is having an open women’s class, it’s May 12th in Salina Kansas
I’d do it, but I’m a complete wuss right now. I don’t want to go and embarrass myself!

Strongman competitors are supportive and encouraging.
Come out and give it a try and have some fun. You’ll learn a few techniques, meet some really nice people and maybe find a sport that will give new meaning to your workouts.

Exactly its your first time sure aim to kick but but main thing have a balst meet ppl and learn. Youll be hooked

Next year we will definitely have a womens division. We are also going to have all weight class divisions next year too. We weren’t sure of the interest so no womens divsion this year plus it is our first meet. We would love to have you come out and watch. Get ahold of myself or Vince and we can talk to you about training in town.

No Jason Iwont be entering this one.
Just got two very nice boxes of goodies for the meet.
Titan has been nice enough to supply all competitors with a t-shirt, lifting straps & THP wrist wraps.
Cytosport sent samples of Fast Twitch and Muscle Milk for all competitors.
Goodie bags are shaping up real nice with more to come.

SWEET!!! snapped my second set of the double thick ATP straps a few months back on some RDL’s and havent bought any been spending the limited extra cash on entry fees lol. Now just hold out for July my grip should be crazy by them

I’m totally done posting on this thread like I’m tough. For goodness sakes, I’ve only been lifting for 3 1/2 months, and I’m not even qualified to joke about doing any kind of competition, strongman/woman, figure, bodybuilding, whatever…
I am really happy that there are strong lifters in Omaha!
Girlbot, get ahold of me sometime if you want to come try some of the strongman/strongwoman equipment. Very low key atmosphere where you can try stuff out.
