I think I can pull at least 225, maybe as much as 275 but unfortunatley I don’t have regular access to proper weights. Oh well, as of November, I will. I am a conventional over-under deadlifter; from what I read, I assume you are a sumo deadlifter ? Or do you switch it up ?

Unless you have huge legs, thighs parallel to the ground is not 3-5 inches below parallel. In fact thighs parallel to the ground should be just about at parallel.
EDIT: point of clarification - when someone says they squatted to parallel, what they mean is if you drew a line from the top of the hip crease to the top of the knee, that line would be parallel to the ground.

when I say paralel I mean the highest part of my quad about a half inch under my knee and I got HSS so fat upper legs either way more like 2 and a half inches than 5

Im all lower back legs foot and a half apart almost stiff leg deadlifts and I havent had to switch it up yet if my deadlift slows Il train my squat more and put some hip strength in there

I cant wait til tomorow I finaly found a box thats right at paralel so I can actualy use some weight in squats whos ready for a box squat max effort day
I am ready ! Oh yeah, to assuge my ego somewhat, at 16 at 205 lbs I benched 165 for 4 reps and I can stiff-leg 260-265 for a single (as of yesterday). Cries I HATE YOU ! j/k. I dunno what I max out on for bench (175-200 maybe) and squat (225-250 I am guessing).
You sound like you’re in the same boat as me, tall with big legs and back. I, of course, have no chest/arms/calves to speak of. The shoulder part concerns me most. Rowing is fun/easy for me, though ! The gift and curse of long arms/torso/legs.

checkonit… 6 years training weighing 170? why do you even work out a site with all stuff in it and you weigh 170 after 6 years you fail at life and with 5 percent body fat? no one wants to see a body builder who weighs 170 shoot your self… I hope you started working out when you were 8
