N3wb Squat PR!

16 years old went to the gym today, hadn’t maxed out in a while warmed up and hit 600, my squats have been questionable on depth lately but this one was good!

I know this sounds like Im bragging, and I am, but dammit! I finaly hit 600 and Im damn proud of that. Especially since some 19 y/o 370lb kid hit 600 raw and got sponsored and interviews and all kinds of crap for the 100% raw powerliting federation.

Very very very happy and just wanted to say so.

EDIT: got the vid up.

Its not ATG, but its paralel, my upper legs are 32" around “fat” so keep that in mind when you compare it to the depth of a 135lb kid doing a ATG olympic squat.

(Not makeing excuses for not going as deep as I can)

well fucking congrads bro, now I needa get up there.

cool…wish i could do that

thanks man, I was realy realy hapy, because last time I maxed I hit 585 with knee wraps and then got shin splits, so I had to take time off, which made me way weaker.

I only had 505 when I cant back so in the last 5-6 weeks I gained it all back and then some.

Feels great to hit a goal that has taken this long.

Congrats

Yeah, on the way home I was already thinking about getting some knee wraps and a monolift and going for 700 this year.

Damn it Uber N3wb, just when I was missing my 400 pound at 16.

Gaining weight is the fastest way to get your squat up, pack on 5lbs and youl probably hit it for reps.

Great work, ya beast!

I see you hired the cameraman from “The Blair Witch Project” as well.

Are you planning on doing any powerlifting meets anytime soon?

-Matt

thanks man!

I dont have any meets in sight at the moment, just basicaly enjoying getting stronger etc.

My heavy lifts are taped, so if they aren’t credible its obvious, when I do a meet it will just be to prove my lifts are with good form etc, and theres not much better proof than a video right?

Just not realy motivated to compete at the moment.

Nice work!

I squat in chucks too. Going to try the deadlifting in socks only. How do you like deadlifting socks only compared to wearing chucks?

I only deadlift in socks, its just something I got used to, chucks are real thin, probably doesn’t make a difference either way.

Now I feel like dropping the low carb thing and gaining as much as humanly possible. Damnit man, why did you feel the need to brag.

sick lift though, hope I get 600 by the time I’m 30.

thanks man.

I knew that bragging would make me look like an ass lol, even tho i got a training log where I can brag all day long and no one will say anything I just had to make a new thread.

Its by far the most bad ass lift I have ever done, a full gym stopped to see that squat, not to mention the guy who got my brother started lifting because he wanted to look like him…

I have had a dumbass smile on my face all day.

You’ve got every right to be proud and brag for a little bit.

That’s an excellent squat.

Good job!

You earned it. That was pretty fucking awesome.

badass lift.

Very, very impressive. You’re sure to set some records if you ever end up competing.

Also yeah no question on depth you got the lift it was solid.

You have right to brag its a great accomplishment, in fact I’m glad you did it serves as motivation.

That must be close to world record squat in teens also, madness. You should really do a sport man, you could get scholarships thrown at you just for your strength alone-not to mention if you do well, chance at millions-. They would teach you technique and skill just knowing you have so much strength.
