My Routine: Leg Work Too Tough?

Been training for a couple years now so I have a pretty good idea of what works. And what works for me is training heavy. Anyways, here is my routine, anyone have any opinions on it? My number one concern is that it might prove to be too difficult to do stiff-leg deadlifts and conventional deadlifts with HEAVY weights in the same week, does anyone have experience with that? The thing is, SLDL are the only hamstring exercise around that actually does shit, since I don’t have access to a glute ham-raise or whatever…

If you have very strong joints and respond better to intensity than volume it could work well for you…just gotta do it and find out.

It looks a lot like the way Skip Lacour trains. A lot of people will burn out quickly this way, but if you’re wired to handle this kind of training, it will work.

EDIT: And no, I woudln’t worry about SLDLs in the same week as your deadlifts. If your low back can’t recover, maybe do the SLDLs every other week and leg curls the other week.

Even then, I don’t see the benefit of doing SLDLs over GHRs. Or better yet GHRs and leg curls. My legs always responded well to high volume. But I see why you would use SLDLs when you can replace them with one or even two excercises that can isolate the miscle groups you are trying to hit better, and don’t compromise lower back recovery.
