Once again my lfts are higher tan yours and i look way better, you can’t possibly think that physique in your avatar can beat me on stage. I can tell it can’t without even seeing you pose.

If you want to contructively criticize, by all means go ahead, but lay off the forehead jokes, lol.
Dude, I am a powerlifter. I would hope people that train for phsyique have a better one than me.

Keep growing!

Serious question: Why do you feel the need to prove yourself around here?

A lot of people here have tried a lot of different things. Some are actually doing pretty radical stuff, some aren’t, but have in the past. I just don’t get it.

You’ve made great progress, but there are people around here with a lot more knowledge and experience than you, who’ve come a lot further than you are right now. Talking down to some of them with the attitude that it’s not even worth your time to listen… is pretty fucking arrogant.

Here’s, the peak of my bulk I got a little to heavy, 216 in this pic.

I said I’d like to share it, which is what forums are for. One guy asked me to share, that’s why I’ve decided to do so.

Your delts are not impressive… sorry

And you are “already” upright rowing the 75s dbs you said…

I wonder how they will become “impressive”

You are stuck in the world of “the only way to progress is to add weight”
I’ve been training 2 years -_______-

You can’t quote me saying “already” because I never said it.

progressive tension overload is the only way to make muscle gains, plain and simple.
Good progress,

but I would like to throw out that Progressive Overload isn’t just simply adding weight, because you can’t just keep doing this forever.

There are other ways to over load the muscle, like working on speed/power, shortening breaks between sets, time under tention, form(wether that be using better form or reducing leverage to focus on a specific muscle/group.)

Don’t see the point in ridiculing the guy.
exactly, he has obviously put in some hard work in and out of the gym. He looks significantly leaner AND is up 17lbs. I dont think there are too many people out there who would be disappointed with that kind of progress in 12months.

he may not be at Zraws level, but that shouldn’t cause anyone to not appreciate what hes done.

Like the others have said, lets get a pic of the back and maybe a front pose to go with the original pick so we can actually see the total package.
Here’s my back at the peak f my bulk, between 215-220 here.

Sharing is great. I have no problem with that.

It’s comments like this though:

Yet lateral abduction with arms straight can create more stimulus with a lesser load due to the mechanical disadvantage (which you already acknowledged). If lifting a heavier dumbell due to a bent arm satisfies your ego, yet at the most basic level is providing the same muscle stress on the target, then all you’ve done is impress yourself in the mirror.

Additionally, your working definition of “consistent progress” is not actually consistent with the goals of bodybuilders or physique oriented athletes. As such, you can argue about training for ever increasing #s all you want, but it’s pointless in a bodybuilding forum. I wasted many of my early training years chasing #s. Then I realized what I wanted out of my training and spent the majority of years until now learning how to use less weight to achieve my goals.

(That’s all I’ve got, after reading through the rest of this thread I’m out)

Why, there was so many things incorrect with this post that I didn’t even bother responding to it, lol

Not sure I understand this comment, are you not impressed by my progress in one year? Do you think your physique is more impressive? Are you laughing at the hammie thing? Or “worried where this thread is headed”?

You’ve done good. Impressive progress for a year for sure.

I’m not comparing myself to you or anyone else. I could care less what you or anyone else thinks of my physique. I lift because I like it.

I laughed a little at the hammie thing but, to be honest, the forehead comments were much funnier.

My comment was in fact directed at this part of his comment.

Great progress in a relatively short duration.

The hate here is obviously the result of your rude arrogance in the recent post on shoulder training, where you started a fairly innocent thread, and then when anyone else chimed in with their thoughts, you dismissed, disparaged, or insulted them. Basically you acted like an ass.

Personally I don’t care one way or the other, but in case your parents never taught you, that’s not how you make friends at a new school.

S

Some objective advice (since this thread is in need of it)

Bring your back up to par with the rest of your body and keep your head down and focus on yourself and don’t worry about anyone else and you will go far

And humility is understated and a noble quality

I too was wondering where all the hate came from. Then I read his other posts, especially the ones directed at Stu. Now I get it.
