in other news, i trained at DC Barbell again today with Pegg.
and, i got a 15 lb squat pr for 245. FUCK YEAH, BITCHES!!!
it’s been suggested I stop going atg for awhile, so EVERYTHING i did today felt high. 225x1 felt good but weird, 235 was about 4 feet high and FUGLY. 245 i had someone call my depth just so I wouldnt fuck up again, and Pegg got both the 235 and the 245 on video.
so, whenever he can post em, i HOPE he will.

in accessory work, it was my first time on a real live ghr machine. if you remember the youtube video of my ghr’s on the lat pulldown, well, i’d like to think i got a little better handle on em today, but I’m making no promises.
reverse hypers bruised the shit out of my hips.
did 15 bw hypers (regular back extensions), then 15ish with a 25lb plate behind my head, then 10ish with the plate.
the some ab nonsense with the TRX bands. those are some tricky sumbitches. love em.
I have the second highest # of consecutive pullups (and i think better rom at the top, cant say for sure) at that gym. how many, you ask? 8. then 5, then 4, then 2.
now im home, and clean, and i have a fridge full of healthy food to make. i might make it to the other logs before i pass out for the evening.
EDIT: while 235 was FUGLY, 245 wasnt beautiful, but im claiming it. about 4 inches of squat morning, then i remembered to push my elbows forward and my head back and i was fine. funny, about that, doing shit the right way.
