Hey guys!!! Got up this morning after a better night sleep, but for some reason, I had couple dreams where I was playing hand-ball, which I did’t play for years now, and in my dreams, Im also a righty…yes you guessed right, I tried to throw the damn ball in my sleep, waking up in a world of pain each time!!! lol! Never thought dreaming could be sooooooo painful!!!
Now we’re off to the office me and Kevin…dumbells are speaking loud to me this morning, I might do couple sets, just to get the feel of it…just couple sets…right!!! lol!
Just a couple of sets…LOL!! That’s what I said when I got out of the hospital to…LOL!! Glad to see you up and about rearing to go buddy. Watch out for those active dreams too

Do you take ZMA before you go to sleep lol? One time when I was taking it I did pullovers with a tub of Metabolic Drive in my sleep.

@banjobrown: Lollll!!! Well, as it turns out, couple sets ended up being a full chest-back workout, training my left side only with dumbells, machines and pulleys! And even though the feeling was funny a bit and weird, I ended up having a great pump! Having my normal training shake made with 2 scoops each of MAG-10 and Anaconda was exactly what the doctor ordered!!! lol!
Thanks for the updates Alex, it is great to see you doing so well and I believe everyone could use a little more of your attitude when they are injured or just down and out; I know it is helping me through work right now! Question: have you changed your diet much due to your injury and workout ability? Thanks Bro and keep hitting it!

yep hello alex, I implemented the advice you gave me on my shoulders, namely how to make them plump on top, you had said to work much bent lateral raises, well, after four sessions I already see the results, cool of you to give us the benefit of your knowledge of the workout.
Hey Alex what do you think about face pulls for rear delt work out. i’ve been training rear delts by themselves like suggested and really feels goodand wanted to add another exercise to the day.
@rylittleton: Not really, since Im still training 2 times a day, 5 times a week. Im still having my mix with my workouts, 2 scoops each of MAG-10 and ANACONDA, and a shake after each workout made with 2 scoops of Surge Recovery and 3 scoops of Metabolic Drive Growth Formula. The rest of my meals consist of egg whites, oatmeal, potatoes, chicken breasts and turkey patties.
Instead of having a cheat meal and a cheat day per week, I’ll only have two cheat meals. And if I notice an increase in my bodyfat, I’ll cut down a bit on my calories intake, but I doubt it!
@jbald: Actually, I loveeeeeee face pulls for rear delt! My only advice would be to do it at the end of your rear delt workout, or in a superset with another exercise, one that you can handle more weight and still be able to keep a strict form. Hope that answers your question!
Thanks Alex all your help is greatly appreciated! and I wish I could train like you do with an injury when I am healthy! Keep it up man and you will come back WAY BIGGER AND STRONGER!
Alex, hope all is going well with your recovery. Take it slow, one day at a time. you will come back better the
than ever eventually !
I’ve recently caused myself to have a few injuries, and i don’t think ill be ready to again for at least a month, but you’ve inspired me to keep at the gym and do what i can till my body is healed.
@rylittleton\GrindOverMatter: Thanks for the kind words guys! If by being my normal self I inspire some of you, well Im happy, because many of you do inspire me too, your passion for the sport and dedication, but also the way you guys go about your normal life and personal struggles, balancing job, wife, kids. friends and training all at the same time, and being able to be successful in every categories! Thanks guys!

Yeah, I think you’ll be just fine with the bodyfat if you follow that type of workout nutrition protocol and eat like that!!!
Hey guys!!! My arm is going great, been training 2 times a day since last thursday, and I don’t feel any discomfort really! The only problem is…it’s itchyyyyyy!!! lol! I don’t even want to imagine the look, and smell, of my arm when they gonna take ma cast off on monday…yikes! Other than that, Im getting stronger each and every workout, since Im getting use to the hole, “left side only” thing.
Pressing movements are the most challenging, Im not use to balancing the dumbell with only one arm. At first I thought that since Im normally used to doing incline bench presses with 225lbs for 10-12 reps, I could do at least 80lbs dumbell in one arm…wrongggg!!! lol! The weight is too tough to balance, 60lbs for reps is more than enough for now!
Besides that, everything is going well guys, even better than expected!!!

That’s awesome news Alex and the fact that your arm is itchy is great because that means your healing up fast.
I had a question for you to when you have the time. My wife and I are planning to move to Montreal next summer or early fall. Are there any gyms that you suggest I check out geared towards serious Bodybuilders and Powerlifters? Thanks for your time budddy
@banjoband: Hands down buddy, Progym on Hochelagga street in Montreal!!! My old gym…the best and bigger gym in Montreal. All he big guys in town train there, and there’s one guy, Eric Chevrier, who’s renown Nationally for his knowledge in powerlifting. Not too expensive either, around 350-400$ for the year, and let me know when you’re going, I’ll put a good word for you and try to get you a discount or some kind of a deal, been training there for years!!! It’s located on the East part of town. Keep me posted man!!!
