Then you’re gaining fine and don’t need creatine.
you never need anything, Obviously if im gaining i dont need it but it couldnt hurt to use it.
You do need protein and large quantities of food, which will cause Moms to fret and nag and worry about your kidneys and other nonsense. That is worth arguing over but creatine is not.
i would agree with the OP if he substituted the words “creatine” with “fish oil” because the latter is way more important for general health and its benefits are immediate and numerous
and the excuse of “you still live at home so you should expect to eat like shit” is stupid because for example with fish oil good luck getting 5+ grams of actual EPA+DHA from fish intake
This reminds me of when my mum found my ouncebag of weed when I was younger ;p I just took it back and said its mine. Dunno how u can let ur mum steal ur shit and get away with it ;o I mean, isnt it ur choice what u wanna do with ur body?

your “mum” (u sure your from cali?) played a part in giving you your body so she probably has a say in what you do if she pays your bills and/or your not 18. Even if it’s something incredibly rediculous like taking away creatine, it is her house.
I’m out on my own, I’m open with my parents about what I do and stuff that I take. Although they may disagree sometimes, what can they do?
i agree just hide it that what i did to i was 15 when i walked into gnc and bought some weider creatine mono pills and hid them for six months with great gains until my dad let me get some.
The stuff I used to hide… LOL at hiding creatine - “Secretly, Johnny had a terrible addiction that must remain a secret at all costs. For Johnny… lifts weights!”
I’ve never found Creatine all that useful. I got some benefit early on and now I just take it to use it up. Hell, if you lived here I’d send you my “stash”.

if there’s alcohol in the house throw it all away and see what she says. “mom, alcohol causes dehydration and is toxic to the liver”
creatine is my friend. my dad, when I first got it, thought it would lead to steroids haha. dummy. but, you’re young, youll live without it. even at my age i dont really need it but ive been taking it for a while and have that mental need for it haha.
not to saay its addictive lol, but i feel like i wouldnt get as good of a workout without it. but anyways, hide it, take it, and stand up to the man!
Lol my mom was and is the same way even now when I don’t live at home. Shove articles down her throat until she not only allows you to have creatine, but openly admits she was wrong and creatine poses virtually no health risks.
well, your mom actually gave you money back so i think she sounds pretty cool and wouldn’t play the challenge card here. save it. the small boost you may get from creatine is nothing you can’t get from eating lots of meat, working hard and getting consistent rest.
and that’s not worth the risk of causing a rift w/ your mom and going up on her radar. choose your battles.
If she is OK with Surge, then just buy it and pour enough into the Surge to equal 5gms/serving and hide the rest until you buy more Surge. Then you will get the right amount at the right times and not have to worry about her “catching you”.
