Pulldown - 155 lb * 10
Pullups - total of 80 reps spread out to 6-7 sets with BW+15 LB
Elevated pullups.
Stretched Glutes, lats, traps and quads afterwards.
Ok.
I put the manta ray device on the barbell, got my chest up, traps/abs tight, and tried a 1 rep max squat. Immediately felt some pain, re-racked it and decided to go lighter.
So, here’s today’s training:
Squat Warmup sets
then 10 reps with 225,
moved on to mule kick machine (or whatever it’s called)
2 sets of lying hamstring curls
then 4 sets of hammer strenght dips,
then regular bodyweight dips.
90 minutes later, I had a 2 hour Krav Maga session, including grappling and selfdefense drills.

What is Krav Maga like from a self-defense standpoint? The thing is you either hear really good things about it or people think it’s simplified shit.
From a selfdefense standpoint? Krav Maga uses the most logical defenses, things you would do naturally, for example if someone is choking you your natural instinct is to “pluck” their hands away from your neck. In my class, we add a groin-kick, to temporarily stun the opponent, so that you are able to run away, if you have to.
We run these drills, and grapple/spar, play with rubber knives that have electrical charges (aj som fan) , and practice the same moves over and over so that it gets ingrained with your motor skills. Like I said, it uses the most natural defenses, but teaches you to use those defenses more efficiently.

315 for 15 reps might seem outlandish to you. It’s a reality for me. Keep on hating me, I might not post vids after all, your outbursts of squat envy amuse me.
