531 bench x3
bar, bar, 65, 85, 95, 115, 135, 145, 155x1.5, 155x1.5 awww sheet mah bench pooped itself tonight. other than having worked all day before i went to the gym, (gym after work has never been pr) i cant think of what could have been wrong. oh well. i’ll kill it next week!
incline flyes 3x15 x15lb dbs
kroc rows 70lbs x 25 WOOT WOOT
a variation of that core blitz i posted awhile ago… i didnt do the row part, just the press. 15lb db 15 reps each side.
aaaaaand im done. tomorrow, climbing, and deadlifting. wheee!!!
Wow, just looked up what Kroc Rows are - 7olbs is nutty! Well in!
That looks like some pretty damn good benching to me, but then I don’t know your PB.
Never mind, you killed those Kroc rows. Nice!
thanks cal and masch!
so after another incredible breakfast (one of my fabulous omlettes- an oz of turkey sausage, an oz and a half of spinach, 2 slices bacon, 3 eggs, a lil diced onion, and 2 slices swiss cheese), i went to climb… take my final, really.
it was a zigzag type dealio, and i had to stop and re-evaluate a couple times, but… i finished it! the hobbit tells me that of all my other classmates, and the climbing staff at school, only one other person has finished that route… HIM! soo excited. my grip/fingertips flamed out a lil early for my liking, but i havent really been on the wall at all since G got sick. Hobbit says the difficulty was 5.10, which was higher than a beginner class like this was sposed to be able to do, and that my skill level is incredible considering my climbing age (3 months). my final was the day i came back from seeing G in the hospital, on the 11th. i said, “so, i guess i passed the class then, huh?” Hobbit replies with, “So you didnt look online. I posted your grade and you didnt even take the fucking final! you passed the day you could do a figure-4.” I lol’d.
Took my puppy to the vet for his yearly shots and such, vet tells me that he’s in great condition, has a remarkably sweet disposition, and that most cocker spaniels are nightmares.
so i’ll be deadlifting later tonight. stay tuned.
Sounds like a good day in all. Glad this year is coming together for you, despite the hassles.
Damn good job on the wall and school, CB! But, you already knew that…
It’s nice to see that you’re getting back to some ‘normalcy’ and got some much deserved rest.
Oh, that omlette sounds pretty amazing.

I could totally eat that right now. And this is AFTER a perfectly respectful chicken dinner.
I’m not surprised. Your particular combination of strength and intelligence portends well for success here.
hi tiger!
kimba- my ego needed that. seriously
training****
sumo dl x 3
bar, 95, 115, 135, 155, 175, 185, 205, (belt)225x8!! yaaay! they felt great! my lower back was a lil sore still from yesterdays bench, but i did em! woot!
followed by epic fail.
ghr’s used to be written into my programs all the freaking time. i loved em. till tonight, when i taped em, and found out how utterly horrible they are. bangs head against wall
i am not opposed to the idea of duct taping a broomstick to my torso to ensure proper form.
so, then i took my bruised ego and did the hip thrusters ive done b4 with shoulders and feet on parallel benches. 3x10. didnt bother taping those.
then i left.
i get a massage tomorrow. i’ll feel better then.
Awesome deadlifts! ghrs, not so much. Video is a pretty good lie detector, I know too.
You’re still a badass. xo
Is this the gym i’m going to be lifting at when i go to the Arnold?
Anyways, 70 lbs for 25 on Kroc rows is fuggin nuts. The best I got was 100 lbs for 33 a couple months ago, so thanks for making me feel like a bitch.
Great pulls cbear but I’m going to have to say that omelette needed about 2-3 more eggs and triple the bacon.
Those sumo deads were so, so pretty.
Video is such a great tool for truth. A common denominator around here is that we can handle the truth.

it could! when i make that im replicating one ive gotten at a restaurant. its not as pretty, but it is mighty tasty!! nomnomnom.
kimba… oh i love the truth! rawr!!
Nice work, good pulling.
I will admit to using the pvc or broomstick taped to my back for pulls/RDLs, Snatch/clean set up
dorky but works.
just wanted to drop in and say hi. Love the krocs and sumo deads.
