bobbi and wol- this is a long one, skip to page 33.
cal- yes, right around the top of the hipbone, the “butt” measurement is around the part of my butt that sticks out the most.
debra- its quite possible i have no idea what im doing. or mom.
maximus and stronghold- good to see you two in here.
Belini- broken the law-- ok, but lots of people break laws every day, including minor traffic violations. something malicious? ok. I’ll run with that.
T- so sorry your gf gets her schedule, and her pay, jerked around like that. I wonder, would you feel the same about felons if she worked for a diff govt institution? does your sis pick out felons to date or does she just happen to meet lots of them?
shauna- +5 cool points. you’ll see why. its indicative of your character.
Personally, I seem to be a felon magnet. I love, or have loved, each of these examples, and not in the same way.

has been charged, but not convicted of, possession of narcotics with intent to distribute. I know his character, and he was in possession of a large amount of illegal drugs when he was arrested. however, the intent to distribute bothers me, because I know he bought in bulk, and used the drugs for only himself. The drugs didnt interfere with him getting his MBA, or holding down a job. you wouldnt guess it if you met him. Case pending, due to seemingly infinite continuances.

meth lab. did his time, cleaned up. one of the most beautiful people i’ve ever met in my life. one of the two i’ll talk about that i feel privileged to know.

charged with 5 counts of gross sexual imposition, 1 count of rape, and a bad check writing scam. the rape and 4 counts of gsi were dropped, leaving 1 count of gsi on the table. the 911 tape and court records show an incredibly calm woman with no bruises, abrasions, lesions, or any other trauma, even tho she claimed she’d been restrained and beaten during intercourse. the 1 count of gsi means the jury thinks he was naked with her at some point. most boyfriends usually are naked with their girlfriend at some point. i dont know the details of the check scam, but this one is honestly better off in prison. however, he does have to register as a sex offender anywhere he goes, because some dumb cunt tried to fight dirty.

declined the publicity, but another person that i consider myself very, very lucky to know.
they’ve been judged by a group of their peers, sentenced by a judge who was voted into office, and everybody generally agrees that this is the right way to do things.
they can never own a firearm. they can never serve jury duty. they can never work for a city, state, or federal govt office. none of them will ever be able to get a real job again, because the stereotype is so foul.
It doesn’t take long to become institutionalized, esp if you want to keep your body and its bits in one piece. before they leave, there’s no preparation for re-entering the real world. no one teaches you how to go about finding a job, set up residence, check in at a homeless shelter, fill out the welfare paperwork, or how to re-enter society in general. social conduct outside is so different from inside, it takes someone reminding you, on a semi-regular basis, that things are different now. like waking up from a very long, very bad nightmare.
I say that to say this. I dont think any of those crimes are worth having your life destroyed. serve your time, sure. ok. bullshit charge or not, get locked away, learn your lesson, then go back to the real world with a few restrictions (I have no problem with the first set). Having all of those other opportunities taken away is too much. They’re being set up for failure at life, and re-entry to prison.
Technically, between tickets and a few other misdemeanors, my rap sheet is longer than most of theirs… if i had been CAUGHT for all the stuff I ever did, during that period of my life when i was a much cockier asshole, i’d be in for L.I.F.E. i’ve reformed, and i got to start clean. they dont, and 3 of them are people i admire on a sick level. infuriating.
from a PM i received, a defense lawyer;
many males pick up charges during their late teens and twenties due to alcohol or drug abuse or just being cocky dumbasses. Alot of domestic abuse charges crop up due to poor communication skills, insufficient cognitive processing ability and poor relationship models.
There are a few, very few, truly evil people. These exist at every layer of society.
…
Now, with respect to the criminal justice system…its much like a sausage factory. No-one really wants to know exactly how its done because its so ugly. Some poor sucker through dumbassery or bad choices in friends or women can easily enough be drawn into a situation where charges are filed against him. Then the risks of going to trial, losing and then getting whacked with alot of time in the slammer can force even innocent people into taking a “good” plea deal whereby they admit to something they didn’t do in order to get the certainty of not going to jail. In some states, legal representation for indigent defendants sucks total ass, and if you can’t afford a good lawyer you are gonna get screwed, you know it, so you take a deal. Oftentimes without knowing the collateral consequences of a plea (sex offender registration, trouble getting jobs because of a bad criminal record, etc.)
…
A person is not a “felon”. That implies that they are the sum total of the worst thing they ever did. No one of us can be judged by that standard without looking like a dirtbag. Its a red flag – a big one.
