ok. my guestimated dose, including coffee and caffiene pills, was 1.5g in 100mg-400mg increments, between 7 am and 345pm.

i hope i dont ever have to do this again!

arachne. i dont joke like that.

bar, bar, 65, 75, 85, 95, 105, 115(x5). yeah thats right. the 115 that gave me fits last week bc i could get only 1.5 reps was my bitch today. i managed to summon enough “kill” and anger to throw that shit up!

I certainly understand the concept of adequate rest for top performance. But my own experience is that sometimes on the shittiest night’s sleep ever I’ve conquered some of my most difficult physical challenges. Other days, I suck. Why the difference, I wonder?

Way to go on throwing that bar up. I hope the midterm went as well.

so i explained that any instability in your core is going to be magnified by the principle of “give” and elasticity in the band, forcing you to work your core harder to stabilize even if the band is providing an assist with the lift itself, and that the plate weighted lever would guide a person more toward a single plane of movement, and not encourage them to use their core for any kind of stability, reducing the effectiveness of the movement, on top of providing an assist.

he had no argument, or retort, and couldnt even come up with a joke. yep. i win.
That’s the most complete explanation of this I’ve ever heard. I use an iron woody mini band for this and I think it works genius. I’m sure I got my unassisted chin-up because of band training.

rotfl!!!

the one person that i know of, who tried to rip me an asshole on the other side, that came over here and read my log, sent me a pm to tell me that her opinion of me completely changed afterwards, and that she’s now a fan.

she shall remain nameless bc i still owe her a reply to a pm convo we were having.

sorry epona, im getting to you, too.

Cbear,
Holy shit. I just went over to the FA training logs. There are red. people. And people who don’t know why they are gaining weight or why they are miserable. I thought you were exaggerating. Is that site a parody? That is seriously not healthy.
uh huh huh… *shivers
It’s sad, isn’t it?

I think it was just a year or so ago that all those girls were on this site, hanging in the muscle sorority. It would have been awesome of T-Nation to give us like an E-nation…(estrogen) for girls like ‘us.’

I’m sure if they saw an economic advantage they would. To be fair, I read every single article at FA last year, because it was the only place I could find that talked seriously about women lifting heavy stuff.

it couldn’t be the blond whore i referred to once with you, could it?..i’d have to bet she’s too stupid to find her way her to read your journal and then actually have a change of view. not that i’m asking you to divulge the identity…

really
i’m not

and epona is an oenophile so ++

I did too. Every single FA article. I still go back and refer to those articles. I read the articles here now, but they are tailored for a male audience. For example, the great glute article the other day was targeted specifically at men who didn’t work glutes, and I would’ve liked to hear about any training differences for women.

I agree Kim…I am thankful to have this little corner of the site, but sometimes they forget we are here!

And hasn’t FA stopped putting out articles lately?

Oh, hi Cbear!

They haven’t for a long time and the articles definitely dropped in quality.
There are some decent ladies over there - but some very fucked up ones as well. The smart ones will start to trickle over eventually.

Should we leave them a trail of breadcrumbs or I dunno, extra virgin olive oil or something?

Hey smart FA girls: we’ll leave the light on for you!

But I don’t wanna share! hmph

The food or the powerful women forum? The forum is not a finite resource. I can kick them away from your breadcrumbs if you like.

Well, tbh, I can only keep track of so many logs. It’s nice that we pretty much know each other.

Imagine all that crazy over-running this place…no thanks.
But I’ll bet you Cbear would have an extra large order of sand, just for them.

The us and them thing going on is pretty funny.
