Never had a someone hit my bar when I deadlift. But nobody wants to get near me in the gym anyway. I think it’s my wandering right eye and all the cursing to myself I do…

It is Planet Fitness… So I’m lucky I haven’t been tossed out yet for dead lifting… I think it is only a matter of time.

Guppy tank… Except for the light bulbs. I do find it amazing how unbalanced the body can get if pushed hard enough.

I usually get my space… I don’t think some had enough presence of mind tonight to notice giant pink bears…

Funniest thing about the guy trying to cop the plates, I saw them doing team curling with at most 3" rom on the preacher bench w/107.

5x5x245… new at first set I couldn’t up the weight for sets 2-4 like I’d planned…took a long time to recovery between sets and they felt really heavy…

Just catching up with your thread. You been hitting the gym hard. I used to workout at a planet fitness and was told I couldn’t do deads. They took out the racks one day as well. Deads and squats the same day is very impressive. I don’t know if I could do it. Are you following 5x5 or a mix of a couple different workout programs??

Squats and Deads: I don’t move the weight most here do… Excellent 600 OBTW!

PF: Its in a rough neighborhood. There are some from the neighborhood that lift there seriously. Mostly Bench and curls… But some lift serious weight. I don’t stand out except for deads but the day mgr. is cool…

I expect to get tossed eventually. A guy backed up into the end of the bar when I was pulling 315. They probably wouldn’t have looked too kindly if I had dropped the bar and peeled his calf off…

But there’s a Gold’s a little farther, so I figure I’ll have to make room in the budget soon.

I’m trying 5x5 until it doesn’t seem intense enough, then 3x3 upping the weight, then increment back into 5x5… Though it seems to take different times to get back to 5x5 per exercise…
