My First Battle with a Protein Shake...

While soymilk is certainly for little girls, it’s not going to turn you into one.

Shaker bottles are a great idea. I’ve never had any problem with mine (lets see how they do with the cheap shit I’ll be using if my delivery doesn’t arrive soon though).

I’ve found over diluting the powder, shaking the crap out of it in my awesome shaker bottle (like three quid from memory), and just necking it after a hard workout means I don’t really care if it tastes like vomit or not (it doesn’t - more like fake banana)

Except for around workouts, eat real food.

Youre not making any sense. If protein supps arent of good value due to the fact that a protein shake isnt very satiating, then why are they still beneficial on a keto diet…[/quote]

On a keto diet as opposed to a calorie restriction diet you’re going to eat a LOT more protein (depending on your current weight and how active you are). You’re also going to eat a lot of fat, which is also satiating.

I didn’t say protein isn’t satiating, it’s just not as satiating as meat, eggs or cheese. I also didn’t say you need a protein supplement on a keto diet either, again it would depend on your protein requirements.

If you’re a big boy and you’re lifting a lot then, even on a calorie restriction diet, you’re going to need quite a lot of protein so a protein supp might be beneficial.

Although I didn’t put a whole lot of qualification into my initial statement, it’s not like I made a blanket statement.

I think “Youre not making any sense” is a bit strong if you just want to debate opinion, but maybe I took you the wrong way?

I use this. It’s easy to clean and very cheap (8-10$).

It’ll get you there faster though
