Ive been a mere 67 kg at 5 11, yet my hips are always wide and i always have a slight rounding on my stomach. People say i have loose skin. What do I do , i want to me strong and muscular, but i have lot of fat but when i pull my skin up i look fairly thin like id be confident to eat at a surplus and lift
If I were to get that sugery to remove loose skin will my body look tight like when i push my skin up? Im tired of eating at a deficit lol. Ive lost around 50 kg (and gained back ten lol)
This was the most depressing thing I have ever read but it helped me accept it. I know I will never see my abs regardless of the work I put in, but that’s okay. When you get strong AF nobody will be brave enough to say anything about it
Up cals to maintenance and pick a program off the Tnation part of the site and hit it hard. Anything by Paul Carter, Waterbury, Chris Colucci, etc. Nowhere near stag of needing surgery just use this site’s info and everything will fall in to place
no. a better option would be to lift weights and get more muscle to ‘refill’ that skin. I’ve seen MUCH worse examples of loose skin. Yours really isn’t that bad.
why? how? did you gain muscle or did you just start putting fat back on?
if you really want to improve your appearance, you’ll have to be dedicated to the task. you can’t spend months at a time not trying hard, and ‘letting yourself go’. This is a year-round thing. A lifestyle.
I remember a 16-year-old, 140-pound version of myself posting a very similar post (my hips are too wide, etc.) Unfortunately I can’t do anything about how I’m built. I can never step on stage, for instance, not that I’d want to anyway. Everyone here told me to build my upper body. 25 pounds (weight gain, not loss) later my hips stick out a bit, but nowhere near like they used to. I’m sure 20 more pounds later it won’t be noticeable. Work with what you got. You can’t look as good as some other people, but you can look better than you do right now. Filling out with some muscle will help.
I can’t speak to the loose skin thing as I have no experience with it.
