I think that’s his point…we aren’t supposed to notice any of this or make any observations. We are supposed to keep our heads down whenever a picture gets posted and never comment unless it is nice pleasant things that bring thoughts of hugs and warm kisses next to fires.
Noticing that the 32 year old accountant who has been “training” for TEN YEARS but only weighs 155lbs at 6 feet tall and looks like he has never trained is off limits, rude, crude, and socially unacceptable.

I dont have the disposable income right now to afford that much “goodies” and I asked about cost (in that other thread mostly) because I was wanted to know how much that costs/lasts. Just doing some cost analysis.
I totally see what you’re saying X. It seems like there are some things that are “off limits.” Its socially acceptable to use the words “jock” and “meathead” but very rude to use the words “fatty” or “fat ass.” I’d be willing to bet that almost every guy on this board who has made some good progress and stands out a bit because he lifts has been accused of steroids/questioned a bit about steroid use… how in the hell is that an ok thing??? (this has all been discussed many times before, i know, but I’m just sayin)
Some things are ok to talk about/question while other seem taboo… thats just the way it is (and in my opinion it shouldnt be)
I try to stay away from saying negative things about people for the most part. I try to stay objective because Id just rather not get drawn into that sort of thing but it does happen from time to time. I’m not big on arguing but I do enjoy an intellectual/semi intellectual debate lol

I agree. I personally don’t think hyperbole like “that guy looks like the only lifting he’s done is lifting his supplement bottles” is necessarily an insult…UNLESS IT ISN’T TRUE. It may be an exaggeration for comedic effect, but that is not the same as calling someone a dumbass meathead.
I get judged all day long by several people here, including by Chushin even though he is so high above all of that.
It is a little sad that when it comes back the other way, some seem to just fall apart.
If you put yourself out there, you will be judged. That’s just human nature.

All kidding aside, first you got to make sure Alex Smith is the starter. I just dont think SF will because by the time Harbaugh gets his system running smoothly will there be any games left in the year, remember he didnt have an off season.
