6’3"ish He looks to be like 230-240 but I’m guessing he’s lighter since you said he was a freak.
If you tell me he’s 6’6" I’d believe it, the first pic makes him look tall because of the length of his quads.

You’re close on the height. WAY OFF on the weight.
Just googled him, all I can say is holy shit. You weren’t at all lying on the freak part.

Exactly. The guy is 176lbs…at 6 foot 2 and looks that filled out.
Genetics like that are one in a million. You will doubtfully find even two other humans walking around looking like that at that height while not even breaking 180lbs.

How can he look like that at such a low weight though? Like anatomically speaking, what makes him look that filled out at that light of a weight?

That’s insane. I would’ve thought that he was a contest-weight of 230 or something.

So what your saying is a person 6’1" should aim for 220lbs at contest shape (3-4%BF)? My god i totally underestimated how small i am and how many years upon years i have to put in to even try and compete competitively.
Someone who is 6’1" should be shooting for more than 220lbs. I also suggest some of you start paying attention to NPC comps. That is the level right before these guys turn pro and is also the closest to the ideal physiques that came along in the late 80’s.
Most of you seem to be drastically underestimating how big you have to be to do well in these contests.
X- are you ever going to compete? 5’10 and 250? Your fucking huge, why so long, what if you get to the size you want but cant maximise your success cos of ur age? (no i have no idea how old you are)
I’m in my early 30’s and already have a career. Yes, I would like to compete but it is not a top priority. Also, I don’t give out how much I currently weigh on the forums.
Considering most of the guys doing well currently are either my age or older, no, I am not worried about my age right now. Some of those guys didn’t start placing well until their 40’s.
If I compete, it will be within the next two years.
I have been enjoying being able to hold heavier weights for longer these past two years which is something I wasn’t able to do previously.
I think it will make a big difference when I diet down.
I seem to be getting a lot more people than usual coming up to me lately and asking why I’m not competing yet…so I sort of feel an obligation to do so just to justify the size I am carrying.
Fitting in hours of cardio is something I don’t have a solution to right now either. My schedule is too tight. That alone can erase my efforts. Dieting hard at this point would mean becoming a hermit for 3 months and not seeing the light of day unless I am walking to my car from the gym.
That is why I have just been trying to hold my current weight and see if I can instigate a positive composition change.[/quote]
Why don’t you use the guys at Troponin nutrition or Team Skip?

It is due to the overall shape of his muscles (maybe even a lighter bone structure…maybe he’s part bird). He isn’t that thick. In clothes, he would probably look much less impressive, but because he has full muscle bellies, he can get away with a lighter body weight. The illusion is that he is really big.
You can tell from these pics that he isn’t thick like Johnnie Jackson. His chest isn’t really that big. Guys weighing over 230lbs have a chest that sticks out about 2 inches further or more.
People like that are out there, but they are not the norm.
Much like onemorerep on this site, few people could EVER look like that at such a light body weight.

I thought the same thing. I even thought that AFTER X gave the impression that he was extremely light for his build.

Well, like I said, I was enjoying maintaining that heavier body weight and seeing if I could drop some body fat.
I do know I need to buckle down now though. It comes down to me just liking being where I’m at right now.

Nope.
The biggest difference between us…when I diet down, I won’t act like bulking up didn’t help me get big.
I shudder at the thought of a PX V-Diet log…
lol
I always thought this dude looked big for his weight

Is your personal approach to dieting the same as bulking? i.e. slow/long to retain more muscle
or diet bit quicker, accept some muscle loss but then work on rebuilding it?
I think I know your answer, but felt like asking to clarify

We are way off topic now.
Are you thinking of competing at battle at the river in chattanooga.

Off Season Weight: Around 260 lbs | Competition Weight: Around 235 lbs
Height: 6’2" | Arms: 22" | Chest: 57" | Waist: 34" | Thighs: 28.5" | Calves: 20

And that was, mind you, with underpowered legs and great bicep genetics…
Hardly anyone can match that kind of upper body at that weight/height.
