Muscle Memory Question

About 2 years ago I weighed in at about 170 and since then I have been on and off lifting and have gained a little over 30 pounds, which is mostly fat but my lifts have increased slightly. Right now im dieting back down to 170ish. When I work out I do alot of body lifts such as pullups/dips with added wieght. My question is when I hit 170 and lose that wieght is it going to be easy to get back to where I was when I was at 200 pounds. Does muscle memory work that way?

It was mostly fat why would you want it back.

I’m pretty sure he wants his strength back.

Nobody can tell you exactly what’s gonna happen except to say that if you work hard, eat smartly and rest it WILL be good, unless you consider higher strength, more muscle and less fat bad.

What if somebody told you “no, you will not get back to where you were in this decade?”?

Have at it man, only good things can happen.
