Just wondering if anyone can describe, or provide a link to, some good drills for increasing multi-directional speed that does not require ladders. I am training for rugby. My linear speed and acceleration are adequate, but any drills for improving these parameters are also welcome.
Put some cones (8?9) in a circle, say 5m wide. Put a couple in the middle as well. Move from cone to cone in a random fashion, changing direction, for bursts of 30 sec. You can make the shape irregular or bigger if you want
