Muay Thai Added to Weight Training

whats up guys??? i am thinkin about starting Muay Thai training to my weight lifting workout…anybody added Muay Thai training to their workout???

I do kyokushin.
Kyokushin has an emphasise on no protection. This means when we punch there are no gloves or helmets or anything.

However due to the high rate of injury and the fact that people cant fight bare handed to the head in most tournaments, you arent allowed to punch or elbow the neck/face but you can knee and face there.

Kyokushin is better if you want to toughen up and have a more brutal fight however muy thai would be better in the sense that you can hit the head (with gloves) so its another aspect of protecting yourself.
In kyokushin its only from knee and kicks.

Any form of training for martial arts would be more cardio oriented. For full power type stuff, you have to get your whole body into the movement = legs+hips+arm (punches).

Entire lower body for kicks.
However you wont achieve this without proper form.
Rotational energy is your friend.

The best way to practice these is have days where you only think about speed and days where you just want to hit the bag as hard and as perfectly (technique wise) as you can.
Kinda vague but maybe it’ll point you in the right direction.
Good luck.

thanks for the insight bro…imma look more into this…thanks again…
