I have not seen any decent coverage of the Ms. Olympia events. Does anyone know which magazine has done the best layouts?

FYI, I went to Borders at lunch time and it appears I’m a month early in my inquiry. Most of the mags were just doing their coverage of the Mr.
The ladies’ coverage usually comes out a month later.

Anytime other Scott haha. Are you looking for the figure fitness or bodybuilding coverage in particular? It seems like they try to sweep the bodybuilding under the rug a bit(not suprising) because it doesn’t hold much appeal anymore at those levels.
I like to check 'em all out.
I mainly wanted to see more pics of Gina and her competition. She looks awesome.
Though I’m against the whole Herman Munster jawline thing in the bodybuilding competition, I keep hoping for a reversal in that trend.

If you can make sense about the figure placing then get back to us because nobody seems to understand haha. Gina looked absolutely fantastic and the announcers(at least on the webcast) had her in 4th or 5th I believe for being “too muscular”. I thought it was a physique contest and not a swimsuit model competition, but I could be wrong.
They always bring in those commentator guys that are sports guys, but don’t know jack shit about bodybuiilding or physique competitions.
Back on the WWS, when that was still on, someone well spoken like Frank Zane or Chris Dickerson would be there to set 'em straight.

On that other BB website, you know, the “bad” one haha. They were actually former female competitors of some sort themselves I believe, so if they don’t know what the judges are looking for no one does. You can probably still find an archived version of the show on there I just haven’t looked for it.
I do wish it was HHH or some of the other MC’s they’ve had trying to announce the women’s figure, that would have made for some interesting video.
MD mag is the best in covering the woman’s bb world, not great but the best out there…
The online coverage is better than the print & it’s free…
