MRI for Myostat?

I was just wondering if an MRI or some other fancy schmansy med machine could tell whether myostat can/does allow satellite cells to “proliferate much longer, substantially increasing the number of myoblasts produced. These myoblasts would mature into myocites, then into myotubes, and ultimately into muscle cells. And like I’ve already mentioned before, the more muscle cells you have present, the greater the potential is for hypertrophy, or growth (Patterson, Issue 200)”. Anyone able to answer this one?

Anyone? Dog pound gurus?

I doubt very seriously an MRI would be able to tell. The contrast just isn’t good enough on an MRI to see a myocyte. A biopsy would be the best diagnostic tool, in my opinion.
