Just wanted to know if myostat will help to build strength as well as building muscle? If so, should myostat be used with a more strength or muscle building program?
I talked to the Biotest Customer Service guys and they said it should help with strength alot. And in theory of hyperplasia it should (for example it is easier for the entire offensive line of the Broncos to push a mac truck than just one of them). But I just started using Myostat a week ago so I’ll let you know how it goes after my third or fourth bottle.
The kind of exercises I do are limited because of my bad shoulder, therefore I lost weight (from 196lbs down to 176lbs). I haven’t talked to anyone at the Biotest labs, but I can tell you that in just a few weeks, on a limited workout, I’m back up to 187lbs in bodyweight (at 5ft7in)–not to mention that my strength has gone up to near what it used to be.
I really want to try myostat, but I also don’t want to be a guinea pig. I believe that it can work, but I’d like to see someone else’s growth on the product, along with their diet and training regimen. So far, though, it looks very favorable.
Myostat is not something that is going to help you in a few days or even a month. It will probably be about 6 months before you see any real results. But at that time you should see some increases in strength. But if your’re looking more short terrm then try Mag-10.
There was also mention of causing DOMS as this increases the need fo and activity of sattelite cells.
