Careful with HCL supplementation, I did it for a while but got scared off by what I’ve read from smarter people than me. Your body’s HCL is tightly regulated, it will stop producing as much when you take it exogenously, and you’ll be back at square one with digestion problems, with the added bonus that your body forgot how to make it on its own.

Generally HCL is better for older (age 40 people) who are actually HCL deficient. Have you tried everything else? Quality (expensive) probiotics, various enzymes, removing dairy/gluten? I would exhaust all options before resorting to HCL.

I’ve almost completely eliminated gluten from my diet and it’s helped a ton. Not the easiest thing to do but it is possible.

YEAH, I was one paleo for at least a year.

I was on low carb paleo and the fats bugged me I think. I was on low fat moderate carb paleo (IE sometimes sweet poatoes, yay!) and I lost all my sex drive/my hair started to fall out/I was a zombie.
I was on high-ish carb, medium fat paleo and I still felt like shit.
I was on eat fewer meals/give your body eating breaks to help with digestion paleo and I still farted all day long.
I haven’t been able to eat dairy without crapping my pants/getting 100 pimples since I was like 18 so dairy is a no go. AND DAMN YOU DAIRY DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW AMAZING YOUR CHEESE TASTES, AHHHHHHUhg!

I did some eliminate shit to see what bugs you type dealio, and I came to the conclusion that everything bugs me.
I mean that, too. Dairy, nightshades, carbs, fat, broccoli…FAWK. I don’t know. I have tried at least 5 different kinds of enzymes and none of them did anything and they ended up costing me a lot of money.
Even simple shit like circicumin or however you spell it, papya extract, yadda yadda.
All day I’m fartin’/not digestin/all mornin’ I’m crappin’/not digestin’.
Yesterday was like the first day ever I didn’t feel like a nasty pile of crap, Lol. I JUST WANT A FART FREE WEEK.

ALso, not yelling/upset with you at all. Just kinda irritated that I have all these issues. Actually, for a really long time I thought it was normal to be so farty/toilet-y. I just reecently realized HEY! Life doesn’t have to be like this?!? I dunno.

Ah i dont know what glutamine does, wouldnt waste money on unnecessary things.

Another thing i forgot to mention is apple cyder vinigar (ACV). Dont buy the supermarket brand, try finding 100% organic, unfiltered preferably. It basically does a similar thing to preboitic as it feeds your digestive enzymes and also helps your body get alkaline. Lemons do the same thing. Having an alkaline body is epic. You feel a million times and disease/infection cant live in an alkaline state - probably the greatest benefit. If you have an unbalanced pH then there is no way your going to be digesting food properly. ACV has been used for thousands of years.

Personally id try ACV 3x a day (just pour some in water) and a squeezed lemon in some water before spending extra money on other stuff.

PS im not a doctor or nutritionist or anything, im just going off info that ive gotten from a nutritionist/naturotherapst and personal experince. I cannot spell either.
