Life news:

WEdding was really fun. My kid was the life of the party. He kept yelling out jokes, LOL! IT was so weird. Though he didn’t really realize they were jokes, he was just yelling out stuff and it happened to be hilarious. I am a lucky mom, I tell ya that, very lucky indeed.
He also drew me this really creepy looking picture of me for mother’s day. Gah, I really hope he doesn’t think I look like that, ha-ha.

Tomorrow I am supposed to do 185 for 10 sets of 3, so 200 doesn’t seem that unreasonable. I’ll be honest though, I would be happy as shit if this whole thing only added 5lbs to my squat, ha-ha-.

First two sets are always the hardest because you have such a long way to go before you’re done. Once you’re finished the 3rd set you just KNOW you’re gonna finish, and any feelings of being overwhelemed totally diminish.
Once finished it all, I also realized, WOW, I am totally going to finish this entire base cycle without missing a single rep. I only have one day to go, and the 10 x 3 day always seems to go off without a hitch. So as far as I’m concerned, I’VE MADE IT!! I made it even though there were about 100 times when I just wanted to cry and had no idea how I was gonna finish all my sets.

Life news:
Went out for dinner with my dude yesterday and I probably consumed about 5000 calories. I got this steak with some shrimp/potato/coleslaw/uhh mushroom stuff/oh veggies/ate 2 of my kids chicken fingers/his fries/got this baked cookie dessert thing/finished my kids icecream. FUuuckkk. I felt like I hadn’t eaten in days even though it was only since lunch time. That was like the most ravenous I’ve ever felt.

I got accepted into the sign language interpreter program, BUT
I’m on probation because the pannel felt my ASL skills were not up to par.

Well excuse me, I had 10 minutes to prepare a speech and nobody in our class has really been taught how to translate properly yet. Why did all my A’s/my essay/video submission account for nothing? What have I been doing this past year and a half? And a 10 minute asl presentation is what I’m judged on? <<>>

Anyway ya, I had like 3 panic attacks about this already, but I dunno. I have to get re-evaluated at the end of the first semester by a Deaf teacher and once again my future/fate will be decided.
