Mr. Hammond, the phones are working...

Please keep the conversationals style log. I like reading them. :frowning:

Everyone is dissapearing!!!

Don’t post like a guy. Post like you. The “you” is what we all like.

Though that doesn’t really bother me since I talk to myself a lot in real life, BUT maybe I’ll make my log more “guy-like” and straight foward. It seems like a lot of the dudes who have logs are just having conversations with themselves, ha-ha.

Just be yourself  People keep coming back because they like who you are right now. You have a HUGE personality! Don’t change

This is all about the effort you put in in the kitchen  How much food are you actually eating in a day? Remember, to grow, your body has to have a sufficient supply of the proper ingredients so it knows it has the okay to grow. Don’t feed it enough, nothing will happen. Oh, BTW, that means you should be eating around 2500 cals a day  There are lots of good articles that break down different dieting techniques for bulking.

Yay!!! Damn fine work

a) Don’t change how you log. It’s awesome.

b) Boom! See? We told you. Just time. 3 whole weeks later and you’re way more aware of your body mechanics in deads. It’s going to transfer to some BYG WAITS.

c) Nice squats  You going for a rep max or a 1RM next week?

Keep posting the same way. Hell, you talked about masturbation before. Don’t change awesomeness.

Got to eat big to be big. I’m off to go get me 2 orders of 3/4 lb bacon cheeseburgers, beer battered fries, and a milkshake to wash it down. Not condoning this type of food, but just a generalization. Also, many meals a day. Like 6. All with a large amount of protein.

I like how you squat, and then do BBB with deadlifts. Just something you came up with, or in the 2nd Edition (yes, I haven’t bought that one yet…)?

It’s from Wendler’s 3 month challenge. He wrote an article on it a month or so back.

<— Insomniac post.

Very nice training. You handle volume(higher amounts anyway) far better than I do.

To your written thoughts: What is a journal/diary/log if not a written conversation one has with oneself? Sometimes, there is no better companion than your own thoughts. Besides, people who don’t talk to themselves are weirdos

I do think that you have fostered enough readership here to never be lonely though.

100% this. Or at least, that’s what I tell myself.

x2

But I try to only have the loud arguments, with myself, while in the car. I don’t want to worry the neighbors.

You outweigh me by about 3 lbs. but you are WAY STRONGER. Keep on keepin’ on with your bad self!

Taking weight off the bar on your pulls to work on form is a good idea. I’ve been working that angle myself and have been making slow progress, but progress nonetheless.

As another tiny person, I am also very impressed with the amount of weight you move.

As far as readership of your log, I think those who are on this site to truly log their training and learn from others will remain. Those with other intentions may not. But I’m pretty oblivious about what’s going on.

Alrighty, well I guess the general consensus is that I do not attempt to post in a guy-ish, zombie-like tone. So I’ll try my best not to…
Even though guys are so fun and cool and stuff, I suppose sounding like me (a woman) is fine too.

Koubanator: I honestly hadn’t even read that article. I just thought that was one of the templates he put in the first book, ha-ha! I haven’t read the powerlifting version either, so I guess you COULD say I made it up since I was too ignorant to read anything, but Jim invented it… I guess.

DoveofWar: Actually, I am trying to cut back a bit on my volume because it’s slightly manic and obsessive, ha-ha. Every time I get in the gym I get all hyper and I stay way too long. This is less volume than I used to do and I think if I can get it down to a semi-sane/normal amount my lifts will improve. You talk like a very wise fellow, I must say. You sound all educated, and shit.

kpsnap: Thanks! That means a lot coming from you, seein’ as how you’re one of my idols and whatnot. I really have no idea what’s going on either. I thought the guys in SAMA always talked shit about women. It’s like a guys locker room in there, what da hell do you expect. And I refuse to leave this site/stop logging as long as I am getting help and getting strong that’s all that really matters to me!

Lifting News:

3x3 Bench day, hoorahh!!

90 x 3
95 x 3
100 x 7
105 x 3
Some of them reps in there were paused, I can’t remember which or how many, but I know as long as I pause some of em I am doing fine. I was too pausey obsessed before. CHILL OUT, DORKWAD.

Close grip benching, HA, now here’s a kicker! I fucked up in a good way.
So last week I said I was adding weight, i did 80lbs last week so I decided this week it was time for 85lbs.
My first set I got 6, I think hmm, okay, reps are down, but at least weight is up.
Next set 4, I thought, fuck, I am weak, maybe my close grip was TOO close.
Put my hands out slightly and got 5 reps.
FUCK I says to myself! If I am not going to be hitting reps at least I should be ramping the weight!
So I go to grab more weight and I realized I had 95lbs on the bAR!! So my close grip bench was as follow
95 x 6
95 x 4
95 x 5
85 x 9
I must say, I was all smiles after that. I was so pissed at first, ha-ha. People might think I have bi polar disorder. RAGE…EXTREME HAPPY…TIRED.

32 pull ups added throughout that shit ^^^ as per my usual inability to sit still…
BBB military press
50 x 10
50 x 10
50 x 10
50 x 10
50 x 10
Wayyy easier than last week. No doubts about hittin’ all mah reps.

Kroc rows
45lbs x 20 each arm
40lbs x 20 each arm

Random 50 rep non stop of some boring tricep thingy
these straight-legged eagle spready type sit up things that my hero StormtheBeach does.

DONE

Life News:

Yesterday I took out the recycle, HA-HA!

Spock if the rest of the log is you being yourself then be yourself damnit. Take it from me, trying to be someone you are not to appease the masses is a bad thing. It does not work, and you need to be true to yourself within reason.

Picture related.

Oh and keep training hard, your deadlift form has already improved alot.

Lastly and lol at the weight mix up, i’ve done that before and didn’t realize it until i watched the video later. Oooops!

A 10 pound bench accident is KILLER. I love it!

Your pressing is really coming up. Especially if you don’t notice a 10# accident.

[quote]Spock81 wrote:

Swing both ways and cold? Or did you mean “bipolar”?

10# mistake on bench?

45#x20 kroc rows (p.s. gahhhhhh)

No doubt about it MPs?

Girl, you are on FIRE.

It’s so much fun to see you attack the training!

Now go eat sum beef!!

Beef!!! Get big food!!!

Funny story: (kinda?)

The owner of the gym where i train, Mark Rippetoe, often walks around the gym eating piles of meat out of a bowl. Often caveman style. The first question asked when someone’s numbers are suffering is how much meat are you eating? Technique questions come second. Lol not that great of a story, but you constantly mentioning beef reminds me of that.

Bottom line, eat beef!!
